Does that suffice the requirements of experiencing the IOS or should i go for the Pro models. I am not hell bent on getting a phone which has the best camera. I am OK with a decent camera phone .My main priority if any is the battery life. I am not a very heavy user so no gaming an all that stuff.Would appreciate your suggestions please.

If it’s only for iOS, Save Some Bucks And Get The 13 Eyes Closed. If Screen Size is an issue, You Might Need To Get 14 Plus. However, For A More “Complete” Smoother Experience, Get Pro if Budget is Not An Issue. That Brilliant ProMotion Display is Something You’ll Appreciate Every Day. However, 13 is No Less. For The Price it’s Coming For Right Now, it’s A Steal. It’s Got A15 Bionic Which is Way More Than You’ll Ever Need. Even Cameras Are Awesome.

Just got these 2 clear cases for my 13 and wife’s 11 from the local market. Pretty solid with good protection, costed just 450 and 250.

Thanks for the suggestions brother. I am assuming you are referring to the regular Iphone 13 and not the pro model. Correct?

Yes. The Regular One. For “Pro”, I Was Referring To The 14 Pro. I Guess it isn’t Worth Getting The 13 Pro Over The Regular 14 Even Though Both Share Same Chipset. 13 is Just A Fantastic VFM Option Right Now. I Have One And Everything About it is Awesome, Including All Day Battery Life!

Since you are bored with Android (no budget issues I guess because boredom and budget don’t go hand in hand lol:) and want to move to iOS I would recommend going with the latest and greatest.

Get the 14 Pro or Pro Max, but definitely the Pro series. If battery life is important and the 6.7” screen size is comfortable get the Max or get the 6.1” Pro.

The latest Pro phones will really give you a proper Apple experience and bluntly speaking non Pro phones are made and sold only because Apple wants to reach a wider audience.

Cheers

Trust me that was the first thought i had to go with the Pro series. Here is the predicament . I just bought a Mirror-less camera a few months ago and so the camera duties will be handled by that. Now i am sure if i buy a Pro model whose USP are the cameras then i know for sure I will tend to use the phone more for the camera purpose. Call it laziness or foolishness but i know sooner or later that situation can come.Having said that i know the full experience can be enjoyed with the Pro series. Does that change your suggestion?

Not at all my friend. Get either one of the 14 Pro series whichever suits you and enjoy both in their own unique way.

Cheers

Guys,

I am sad to let you know that I have cancelled my iPhone 14 Promax order yesterday. :crying

But, I am happy to share that I'm booked into this exciting event on October 29th in Portland, OR

You may ask, how is this related to this thread?

Well, it's a 0% sales tax state. so I have decided to pick up the iPhone 14 Promax directly at the store when I am in Portland next month.

I will not only save the gas money but, can also enjoy a nice brewery lunch.

Hurray :Cheering:

Chip on non pro version is older variant (A15 bionic ,aka the one that was used in 13 pro model with an additional GPU core)

You can say non-pro models are repackaged/glorified 13 pro model basically (without the extra camera)

Bang on Mate. But I try to look for VFM factor while purchase and some apple products like iPad 9th gen base spec or one year old iPhone during sales does make the products really VFM IMHO. Even the Macbook Air M1 when launched at 93k was super VFM and had no direct competitor whatsoever.

The perception of VFM can differ from person to person and these are just my thoughts :).

Between regular 13 and 14, go for the 13, the latter is not worth the premium. But if you have the budget, go with the 14 Pro. It's not just the camera, the overall experience is much superior with the Pro model. Even the 13 Pro will be a much better buy compared to the 14/14 Max.

After around 25 years playing around with Android, I’ve decided to settle down lol: Gifted myself a 13 Pro Max couple of days back.

Not much into selfies, so doesn't really concern me. I decided to move to IOS for the seamless software experience . My wife has been using a iPhone 11 since last 3 years and she says she doesn't even feel like upgrading as its still flawless.
