i that time i got my phone battery replaced at Apple Authorised centre and also updated to 11.2.2 a couple of days back.

Yes can be due to this, a loose connector maybe. It is a simple job and get it fixed from them to avoid any issues.

EDIT: Check my previous post, if you want you can restore back to an older OS and see if that helps, maybe use the same OS as your iPhone 7.

You cant use an older OS for the 8 Plus, can you?

Yes you are right, can go back only upto the first one that came out for 8.

Fellow mod moralfiber carried for me a nice Spigen wireless charger from US of A :) very convenient in office. Tap and glance to open and easy to type with two hands while on the cradle.

I got mine in a different shape. Very handy unit, but a dust magnet :)

My wife's iPhone 5s has been behaving badly since it was upgraded to 11.x and now we are suffering!

This is one weird news. Could iPhone X users please comment on the same.

Several Apple iPhone X users have complained that their hair keeps getting stuck in the mute switch on the left side of the phone or in the gap between the bezel and the display. Reports claimed that Apple is replacing some of the devices. Notably, users have complained about a similar issue with older iPhone models as well.

This is nothing new. My beard used to get stuck when I had the iPhone 6. But it was only when I rested my chin on the phone while keeping it upright on a table. Weird but true.

Thanks.

Hairs getting stuck is one thing. Apple replacing iPhones for that very reason is what takes the cake :).

Hmm, Interesting! This one could beat the McD's 'Hot Coffee' case study in silliness. No such incident happened to me, unfortunately. Probably need to grow my hair a bit more. :)

I updated to 11.x and its been working flawlessly. The font looks bit weird, that's about it.

Have you tried a factory reset? My ageing 5S was erratic post update, however it is behaving normally after a reset.

Has anyone gotten their iPhone batteries replaced here in India after Apple reduced their prices for replacement down to $29?

So I took my 6S to the service Centre yesterday. They checked online and told me based on my series the battery would be changed free. Even if it hadn't been part of those series it could have been replaced for 2200 INR. Condition in each case being no liquid / physical damage.

They said it'll take 8-10 working days for battery to come and 2 hrs to carry out the replacement.

10days for parts arrival for a 2hrs job? Can't they store the spares given the current situation or even otherwise?
