I don't have the Hindi keyboard; just the English (India) and Emoji.
But I still get weird suggestions :D
Attachment 1917573
Edit: anyone else feel the battery is draining faster than normal (pre-iOS 13)?

I am experiencing faster battery drain
Got a suede leather case for my X (from US). X accessories going cheap, so this plush grip cost me just $15

Not key board. Look here.
Faster drain yes. But somehow improved from yesterday. Waiting for 13.1 on Tuesday. Too lazy to go load developer version lol.

I’ve been using iOS 13 on my iPhone Xs Max & my iPhone SE for the past three days now & I can assure you that the battery is indeed draining much faster than earlier.
I hope iOS 13.1, that is allegedly releasing in a couple of hours, fixes this, as I am having great difficulty in using my iPhone SE like I used to before.
A new OS will always drain battery faster for the first couple of days. This is primarily for 2 reasons - re-indexing of the files (takes about 48-72 hours depending on the amount of data) and higher usage out of the blocks for the first few days (checking out new features etc). But re-indexing is a CPU intensive process and hence battery drain. The solution is to give the OS some time to stabilize.

Can you sharehow this works? I mean when you are connected to CarPlay, that means you phone would be already be connected to the infotainment via the cable to the USB port. So, wouldn't it always automatically start charging? |
Yes, that is correct, it would be charging when connected via USB port of the head unit. I, however, connect using Bluetooth and have a fast charger on my cigarette lighter port to charge my phone. What I was referring to was in the latter case.

Thanks for that snippet of information! I've iPhone X 256GB with more than 27000 pictures, 1800 videos and tons of music. So I'm guessing I can expect quick battery drain for few more days :D

Ohh ok. I was not aware that CarPlay would work via bluetooth too stupid:
Was under the impression that very few cars have this wireless CarPlay functionality.
Anyone tried sharing a photo or video with a Whatsapp contact that it not there in the frequently contacted list? You search the contact name and check the box; and then the sharing dialog crashes. This happened 10 on 10 times with me. I can share the same media to others available in the frequently contacted list.
Finally I had to open the conversation with that contact and share the file by hitting the '+' button. :Frustrati
Used space has gone up by more than 1 GB after this update. Too much hype created by Apple around the 13. Dark mode is nothing great while photo app seems buggy. Notes have become slower for sure while loading. Any video that you play from your library opens in muted mode. You have to either increase or decrease the volume or unmute it from options for the audio. So much for 13! :Frustrati

My bad, actually my phone connects to my head unit via WiFi and Bluetooth.
I have a Blaupunkt New York 750 installed in my car.

The charging is an option that you can disable in settings. It has been done to extend the life of the battery. It uses on device machine learning to check when do you actually need full battery, based on your regular charging timings. |
Would you please tell me where I would find this setting? I do not see it where I looked - Battery. Thank you.

Best feature is Shortcuts APP that allows you to place any shortcut on home screen of phone.
Already using it to place Call contacts most used on home screen along with links to my favourite playlists.*SNIP* |
I have been trying to get my head around Shortcuts ever since it was released in an earlier version of iOS - never could understand how exactly to use it.
I did go through all tutorials and videos I could find on the 'net, none of them really seemed to help.
Can you tell me how exactly you made shortcuts appear on the home-screen, and maybe also explain how your "call contacts" shortcut works? Thank you.
Cheers

Simply put it is like creating steps for automation, just follow the steps to create a short cut.
egs- New short cut > Add action > call xyzzy > click on ... which will show add to home screen option. You can name it etc.
Once this is done, it will show up just like a new app, drag it to wherever you want. So next time you just click that shortcut to call xyzzy.
Anyone noticed ‘>’ symbol in Whatsapp messages? This is happening after updating to ios13.
