Reliance web login

I have taken a new reliance broadband connection yesterday and to my surprise they do not have PPPoE authentication. Everytime I need to go to a webpage to connect. Does any one know to get thru this issue as I hv HTC mobile and I keep checking my mails on wifi now and then. Also I have a VOIP phone which needs to be connected all the time. I also read some where that the session expires every 1 hr or so. Is that true?

If this is the case then I will have to move back to BSNL which does not any such issues. Also wanted to check if Airtel has this issue as well?

Thanks!!!

Definitely not there in AirTel and, AFAIK, not there in BSNL also.

Move!

This web login is a pain. And user id is a looong number that makes it double pain if you are browsing from cell.

My PC is on most of the times, so its not much of an issue. If you login on PC and leave gmail or any other S/W open that uses net, then session will be alive for a day.

And Cell/Laptop can access net though WiFi without bothering about login page.

Yup. I too use BSNL and my modem & Laptop will be always ON. [Now a days its less due to BESCOM "policy" of supplying power ]

I had no problem of auto logout or anything.

I know BSNL does not have this problem. I was using it till now but recently I shifted my house and decided to get reliance.

I guess I will have to move to BSNL or Airtel now.

Thats not the case.

Session expires in a day if there is continuous traffic.

In case of no traffic, it expires in an hour.

I have been using it for almost a month , i usually put some torrents for download overnight, it does not expire , except in the case of power down.
May be because the traffic is continuous.

Re: Reliance web login

Bringing an old thread back up from the dead but need some help to sort this problem out.

I have Reliance Broadband at home at the login is driving me crazy. We have Wifi setup throughout the house via routers and access points. Multiple devices use the internet connection and this causes frequent disconnection and re-logins.

Is there anyway this can be sorted out to have a continuous connection?

Please suggest how you are sharing the connection via wifi. Earlier we were using NAT mode on the reliance modem but now they do not configure it. We have a router but the moment we connect it to the router there is no connection.
