sorry to update ya bro. i got it for 29k last week itself. dont bother waiting since prices are similar around the world too. so go and get it. reason i bought 8gb was the ram for sure it is damn fast really fast than nokias i have used in my life plus dont think im changing my phone for a long time now since this phone has everything i need everything..... so grab it enjoy it and make it last cuz i know i shall fr sure

Hi, is there anyway to unlock/break the password of a micro SD MMC.
Without the password, the same card refuses to open in another handset.

have been using a friends htc touch for a week.i would say its a sweet phone especially for the price.it isnt as slow as it is made out to be.if you have used nokia's,you will be comfortable with the touch(actually the touch is a wee bit faser at loading profiles,applications compared to the n series).the onscreen keyboard being too small to use with fingers can be addressed by using 3rd party applications like spb keyoad etc.the camera is good but doesnt have flash.music quality is decent though dont compare it to sony ericssons.its a good phone which does everything.
i would recommend it.
Thanks hellspawn. My brother is using a W810i, and finds it quite a good phone, he plans to go for the HTC, the new version which came around a week back. He is getting it for 17k, is it fine or on the expensive side?
I am in confusion regd buying a new phone. I find the N95 8GB not so interesting. HTC touch has a slow processor, going by its specs.
Another phone i have in my mind is the HTC TyTN II. Anyone using it here ? And whats the cost ?
Steeroid uses the TyTn II (HTC Kaiser). I don't think it is officially available in India. It would be 35K or so in the Middle East I guess.
I think that right now, the Kaiser is the best Windows Mobile phone available in the market.
I've used one a while ago very nice pda & it's available for 32k .

Initial impression is good. Its fast.. Really fast and capable of multi-tasking pretty easily.
I am sworn in to not buying a new phone for another year by dad now ;)
@irags : yep.. Its B&W but for a 2 day used phone.

the funny part is, previous owner gave up this nice piece for a N82. And before N95 8GB, he had an iPhone to use for 5 days. Extravagance i say, but good for me ;)
