Sony Ericsson G900

Sony Ericsson G700

Guys, any idea when these phones are going to hit Indian shores?

Members from Dubai - can you please confirm their availability in UAE and if possible, prices?

Both these phones look stellar in their features and probably the 1st time in last ~10 years that it will make me want to switch to SE from Nokia.

10K. Saw an ad in one of the online shopping sites (Sify or Rediff)

amazing link for smartphones Hydra. I tried it and it gave me the result as E61i, the one which I am currently using :) so I guess its accurate!

Any similar link for leisure/entertainment phone as well?

Hi Guys am currently using an n95 for the last one year and i must say that i am really happy with it. its the first phone that has lasted more then 5 months with me, i usually get bored with phones pretty fast, but i am not able to find a worthy successor to the n95. i guess i am now waiting for the n96 and the SE Xperia. The n96 specs look the same as the n95, except DVB and an *GB flash drive, so I dont know if I would like to go for that.

Any news on the Xperia?? Anyone has any idea on when it will launch. its one rosking looking fone. Cheers.

Let the pictures do the talking

another one with TV capabilty.

More in post #2780 in this thread. :) It will hopefully launch in Q3 end. I say hopefully, because number one we're talking about S-E, and number two, because this is a new OS for them. And they are going one step further and developing their own front-end "panels" for WiMo6.1 *rolling eyes*. But this will be one great device. No doubt about it.

Thank you, nishantgandhi! No such links for leisure/entertainment phones that I know of.

Your E61i can do leisure and entertainment as well!

>> Get DivXPlayer for Symbian (free) or SmartMovie and you can watch DivX movies without converting them in 320x240. You'll need at least 800mb free in your card though. I rip movies to Mp4 for my Dad (he uses an E61i) and a full movie in good quality video and audio comes to just 500MB. The built-in player plays MP4 better than any other player plays DivX. You have to convert the files, though.

>> OggPlay for Symbian is a killer music player that can play most formats. Or you can get the LonelyCatGames' LCGJukebox.

>> The Symbian Browser is pretty good. Or there is Opera Mini 4 (of which I'm sure you know of).

>> Google Maps looks great in the E61i.

>> Ok, the cam is 2MP and has no AutoFocus. But it is not bad at all! Get Resco PhotoViewer and you can store hundreds (or thousands of photos) and still navigate and view them without any lag (the Nokia Gallery sucks big-time).

>> Resco News is a great RSS reader.

So on and so forth :) The E61i can do entertainment better than most other phones.

Hi,
Require some suggestions from the phone experts here.

Am looking for a simple camera phone that can take good pictures and has an 'Anti-Shake' built in.
i.e. even if there is slight movement at the time of clicking, the phone does not give a blur picture.

i am using the lg viewty and it has a good 5mp camera with antishake, iso 800 and other features typically found in a camera. You can also try k850i, which has a good camera too.

cheers,
j
