Looking to change my 2 year old OP5. Suggestions in the ~30k range. Loathe to spend the ~60K being asked for a flagship business phone like the Samsung N9 or S10.

Need higher than average battery life, large screen for emails, good multitasking capabilities, dual SIM, expandable storage (or at least 128 Gb built-in) and a 3.5 mm headphone jack (when the wireless headphone battery runs out!). How does the new A70 sound like at 29K? 6.7" in a narrow form factor and sleek bezel-less looks. Alternatively what?

Here's one of the few reviews available on the A70: https://www.androidauthority.com/sam...review-977714/

Yes the A70 seems to be perfect for your needs. I think you should go ahead with it.

Was having second thoughts only because the chip is the same SD675 as the 14-17K Redmi Note 7 Pro! Of course the screen is so much bigger and I'm sure the Samsung experience will be better. But paying 12K more?

Well, in Samsung's defence, you don't get any ads on the Samsung UI, like you do on Xiaomi.

The super Amoled screen , Samsung build quality and a very stable ROM are more than enough reasons to go in for the A70.

As a past OP2 to Galaxy S8 to OP6 user, moving from stock android/Oxygen OS to Samsung's UI even though One UI has improved the situation.

I would suggest that you go for OP7 when it launches. I know the immediate point is that 3.5 mm jack is not there, and yes that is completely true. But that can easily be covered by adding the type C adapter to your headphone wire permanently. In the rare scenario where both need to be charged, an OP users knows how quickly the devices charges.

If you are fine with non stock(ish) android, the I would suggest you go for Honor View 20. Has a large edge to edge screen, with more powerful hardware than A70, and includes a headphone jack.

Please suggest a good android phone under 13k. Specs doesn’t matter much. It is to be used as an additional phone exclusively for my patients. How is redmi 6 pro and Samsung M10 and M20?

Avoid Xiaomi, they have started tracking your information.
Samsung or the iPhone SE.

Could you please elaborate / add some more information on this?

Sorry I couldn't stop replying here. :OT Every government organisation, every bank official, customer care executives are tracking you. At a click of button a call centre employee of concerned company can reveal all your info.

I saw a post some time back for adding a port to the Samsung S8. My S8 with two SIMs is running out of memory. So how do I add the uSD card keeping the two SIMs.

Thank you for over simplifying my "tracking information" part
Would urge you to take a moment to analyse and then jump to reply.
Nobody on TBHP is a novice, and most of the times, aware of what they post

My Twitter feed on Redmi Note 3 and Realme Pro 2 are different (when refreshed at the same time)
Hope I don't need to elaborate any more.

Have a good day.

If you don't mind my suggestion, why do you need a smartphone as a 2nd phone? I use the new Nokia 3310 as my office number, which is purely for office bank account OTP's and receiving marketing calls. If whatsapp is a requirement, then the Nokia 8810 ( banana phone) has that too.

Can't get much "simpler" than "tracking your information". Yes, you do need to elaborate.

I can vouch qualitatively for the tracking part. The Facebook on my iPhone and that on my erstwhile Xiaomi were poles apart. The xiaomi was used for office bank a/c otp's and the amount of Banking/finance related ad's were unbelievable. Never got porn related ad's on the iPhone.:D

In order to be safe, got rid of all Chinese crap from the MDM. It is only iPhones, Updated Samsungs or bust. Got a nokia 3310 as the office specific phone.
