More news. For those of you who cant make up their minds between the iMate JASJAR and the iMate K JAM , there's yet another device to add to you confusion....

THis one is from HTC too (HTC manufacture all the O2 XDA/iMate/Qtek/MDA devices sold by different vendors) and so far only O2 have announced plans to launch it. Others should follow suit soon.

The device is called the O2 XDA ATOM and is a logical extension of the iMate JAM / O2 Mini / Qtek S100 platform.

It features

BUILT IN WIFI (802.11 B & G), 2 MEGAPIXEL CAMERA WITH FLASH AND AN FM RADIO ALONG WITH THE LATEST WINDOWS MOBILE 2005

The Imate JASJAR is priced at about Rs.45000/-
The others too must be in about the same range but eventually they will all crash within 3-4 months...

JASJAR sells for around 50,000 (Dhs.4,250 here). K-JAM sells for about Rs.35,000 (Dhs.2,999).

However, both these devices seem to have serious memory management issues on the new Windows Mobile 5 platform. They crash so regularly that you need software helmets...

I told ya they are not safe.

Its the same issue intel had with p4 4.0 ghz. The speeds killed the processor.

The clocks are too high and the os is complex hence creating a problem.

have a look at the e680i. got everything but a good camera and best of all a stereo bluetooth support.

nope you must have gone to some old site or u must have read some old news.

I have seen many priced not more than 100$ anywhere.

I can also pass you the links.

PS:- you atleast need bt1.2 for stereo bluetooth.

E680i has radio, excellent mp3 player, linux, voice sms, 300mhz cpu from intel and superb 3d games.

Thanks Devarshi. I bought an iTech Blueband for about $80. Connects nicely to the JAM, the A1000 as well as my laptop, but the sound quality is nothing to write home about...

Steeroid,

So does this phone have "Push Email TO Phone" feature? Can we push the corporate email onto the phone?I hope it does not require as complicated / Pricey setup like the Blackberry's though!
Please let me know the prices.
Had a look at a P990i prototype last week. Have concerns with the memory on that one too. Has options for Memory StickPro Duo and Memory Stick.
Am not very sure about the ranges of the memory though. The prototype tested said about 80Mb on the phone.

Cheers,
-Ajay
