Do you use WhatsApp? Is it stable over ART? Last I heard, WhatsApp will crash with ART, so sticking with Dalvik

Yeah Whatsapp works fine. In fact, I've not had one problem with an app on ART yet.

But my phone battery life isn't great. I am just able to squeeze out around 10~12 hrs on one charge. Must be how the previous owner used it. Lets see - might end up buying and changing the battery.

But Micromax was a killer in this - used to easily get a day's battery life.

So I am looking for Pacman kind of games on Android which are designed with touch in mind. By Pacman kind of games, I mean simple games which you go around chasing and eating stuff. And avoid some kind of obstacles. Single screen kind of stuff, no side scrolling plaform stuff.

Any suggestions - important thing is that the 'touch' interface should feel natural.

No casual gamers here? Please give some recos. I have tried a lot of games - but most of them weren't that good. I am

Quick question for those in Singapore. Have a Nexus 7 WiFi, and it does not download the kindle app for android, as Amazon does not sell the kindle here yet. What's up with that? Also any places we can sideload the kindle app, or is there a simpler way to access the Kindle Indian store, where we have hundreds of books. Thanks in advance.

How much battery life are you getting on one charge?

I charge 99~100% by 11PM and it works fine (15~20% charge) till next day 8PM with internet being on from 11AM. I feel battery life has improved with KitKat can't really backup with numbers though.

I am seeing the low budget android phone Karbonn A12+ getting lot of positive reviews in Flipkart.com. Reviews are all okay, but any of the bhp'ians use it? Any concrete experiences, positive or negative?

I guess Google has crossed the barrier of Newtonian science. The perpetual motion machine is actually possible. Yippie Ki-Yay!

I even don't mind to troll if you want to. Please tell me that you have not seen LG G2 ported apps on a Nexus 5 so that is also a new science invented lol:

4 of my colleagues ordered it at once upon launch, and also got a 10% cashback on the order as a result.
The phone is extremely VFM , and I find that games and applications run quite smoothly on it. It is very light and plasticky to touch though, but thats just a question of getting used to.
Makes for a pretty compelling <5k bucks purchase, in my opinion.

What would be the best 'dialer' app? I am fed up of the stock dialer on my nexus 4, and would like to try any of the free smart dialer apps.

Moto X and Moto G both might debute in India in Jan 2014 . Also Kitkat was released today for Moto G.

I am getting my Moto G on Tuesday evening. Now my Question is, will I be able to upgrade my Moto G on OTA to 4.4? Someone told me its advisable to do it without poping in a sim card and do it over wifi.

Moto G getting Android 4.4.2 update starting today - http://pulse.me/s/Jv8EF

Regards,

So, did you import the phone from US? Or someone is carrying it over for you here?

I don't see any issues in getting the OTA update even if you are using the phone here in India.
I have experienced an OTA update being pushed on Razr HD here in India when on Reliance. So, unless the phone is carrier locked, the phone does not care, whether you are on a certain network or not. The moment it connects via WiFi, it will tell you that there is an update.

I use the paid version of ExDialer, find it very useful.
