It's certainly fast enough.
What you should be wondering about is the heat. There are a few reports of overheating when using heavy apps/games. |
Yes; i too came across multiple accounts of overheating on heavy gaming. Guess it is a common issue with all Snapdragon 64bit processors. First 810, and now 615..
I am not that much into gaming, so willing to overlook that aspect, as long as there is no overheating on long calls, which happens most in my case.

Not so. The HTC Desire 820 is another phone that has the Snapdragon 615, and there have been no accounts of overheating reported.
I have accidentally deleted the local weather update and traffic update from the google now page in my phone (swiped right instead of left). Can someone tell me how to reinstall them? The phone is Moto G2.
Got Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update on my HTC Desire 816. It was an OTA update and size was around 816 MB.
Phone got much snappier after the update and overall performance, look and feel seems to be improved.
Apart from performance getting better, I am also surprised to see amazing improvement in the camera quality of HTC Desire 816 after the Lollipop update.
Famous dual screen Russian smartphone Yota C9660 is now available at just Rs. 6,999/- on Flipkart
It was launched at around 24K last year. Looks like launch of Yotaphone 2 is around the corner, thus heavy discounts.

That's Google for you. They don't want you to waste time worrying about the weather during office hours.
:)
My Motorola G2 outer glass is damaged from the bottom left corner, touch is working fine.
Motorola authorised service centre is quoting me 4,000/- :Shockked: for the new screen (outer glass + LCD) and a couple of local repair shops are asking 3300/- for the same, without warranty.
Can someone recommend me a good, trustworthy mobile repair shop in Delhi/NCR?
Nexus 5, broken glass but touch is working fine, I am given to understand the glass alone is not available so both the glass and LCD need to be replaced. Got quote from LG service center for 8200/- while outside shops quote ~5,000. Any recommendations if someone has got it replaced from the local market or is LG service center the only way to go for hassle free experience? (Have heard of stories where the phone itself started misbehaving and became unusable after local market repairs)

Service center replaced in 2 hours flat.

IMHo, most phones will give you similar battery life and in the end it's upto you to make the most of it.
Conclusion: I don't need to have a charger with moderate use. The phone does not loose battery while sleeping and manages cpu well during awake to last about 18-20 hours |
Dude, can't thank you enough.
Haven't uninstalled Facebook but don't use it anymore. Have switched off location services. With moderate use of WhatsApp & a bit of browsing using Chrome [on data connection] my phone is at 15-20% battery level by the time I am home at night.

Now, I am not going to change my phone. I have used androids and none of the handsets come close to what Nexus offers. No hang or lag. If its android, has to be Nexus/Google phone.

I think its the same price range for the LCD of all manufacturers. I am in the two hour wait to get my S5 broken LCD replaced. It made me poorer by Rs.7250.
Remember replacing my cousin''s G2's screen from LG service center for the same price.
