Thank you for your suggestion; sorry if I've went against you, I just ordered Z2+ 64 GB for SD 820, 64 GB & quick charging. 13 MP is decent for me though & I think this phone has best VFM & hence ordered.

Thank you for your suggestions & patience with me :thumbs up

It has been almost a month since we brought Z2+, it is running fine. Got the noughat update also. You did a good thing by buying 64gb version as this mobile does not have external card support. I wish i could have done the same. Other than that, i feel that Z2+ is one of the best 'budget android mobile' in 5" category.

Clicked few pics of the phone and its packaging. Nearly 10 days since I got this phone and I am still amazed by this amazing device. It is a very beautiful phone without any doubt. Battery is holding up easily for 24 hours under moderate usage. Camera is excellent, call quality even amazing.

Ordered Clear View Flip Cover from Samsung India website yesterday, hope to get it early coming week.

Attachment 1649310

Attachment 1649311

Looks amazing!
Does it come with a screen protector installed? (I see some bumps around the front cam and speaker)
As far as I know, none of the tempered glass curved ones work on such curved 'infinity displays'

Thank you;
For my use I'm happy even with 32 GB (I still got 18+ GB free space in my SD card on P780), but the internal RAM is 3 GB for 32 GB & 4 GB for 64 GB. I cannot compromise with the internal RAM & hence opted for 64 GB.

Besides, the price difference between both were only 1K and today the price drop was immense. Amazon listed 64 G for 11K compared to around ~15350 until yesterday. Don't know what happened all of a sudden today!! Hopefully I get a new piece & not refurbished (which is still 12.5K in eBay) & not an old model

if 64gb version was available for this price, i would have definately brought it. when i brought, there was a special offer for 32gb version, i paid 9350 (after cash back) for my phone.

btw, in my phone the average RAM usage is less than 2gb, so unless you are a gaming person, 3gb RAM should be more than sufficient.

It does not come with a screen protector. I have got a tampered glass installed.

And yes screen protectors don't gel up really well with edge displays but gotta have it for initial protection from key scratches etc. while in pocket.

I am looking so forward to the OnePlus 5 launch later today. I can't remember any time before when I was checking for any leaks almost 4-5 times in a day. Hopefully they don't disappoint me with the camera this time (this is the only factor I didn't want to pick up the 3T).

Let's see the details in 8 hours from now!

I am exactly in the same boat as yours - eagerly expecting the launch and planning to upgrade from my present phone - Moto X Play.

Hope you had seen the making of Oneplus5 shared by Verge Link

Got a Samsung On5 Pro for a elderly relative in today's Amazon sale for 7.1K. Chose it over Redmi 4 and Moto C Plus, for a Made in India no-nonsense Samsung product, better service network, rough and tough build, smooth Android 6.0 OS without any software issues, 2GB/16GB, Exynos processor, 'dedicated' sim and SD card slots and better resale down the line.

Cheers...

There is no concrete evidence/leak which points to IP68 protection. Even in the Verge video the key differentiation with respect to previous generation is Camera improvements and they did not mention about IP68/Dust protection, wireless charging etc. Fingers crossed until launch tonight.

Same here! infact I am going for the launch event on 22nd June at NSCI-Dome :)

Had a bit of fun saving a contact along with his e-mail id in the Phonebook. Managed finally. I found someone we knew after over 15 years, thanks to Facebook.

Got Clear View cover for my Samsung S8 plus. Though expensive at 2999, the cover is surely a beauty and adds a personality to an already amazing phone.

So, Oneplus 5 has been revealed and the camera specs stand at 16 MP + 20 MP for the dual cam! clap: Price starts at $479 for the 6GB/64GB variant and 539 for the 8GB/128GB variants. Comes with 3300 mah battery and 1080x1920 Full HD 16:9 resolution screen. A 16 MP front cam too.

I don't think there is anything to frown as it's pretty much in line with my expectations.

First review :

Edit :: The first review doesn't talk good about the advanced camera and says the portrait mode (with bokeh effect) is more of a miss than hit!

The verge is too apple centric, so this should be expected.
