I think you can turn them off completely by not allowing the sites to even ask if you want their wretched notifications (does anybody? :Frustrati)
I think I have done, and I think the setting is saying no to "allow sites to ask..." It is not intuitive: sounds like they don't need to ask. But it seems to work.

Only way to block such web push notifications in Firefox Android is to :
1. Open a new tab
2. In address box type
about:config
3. Type in the search box -
dom.webnotifications.enabled
4. Toggle the setting from "true" to "false"
Great!
I keep meaning to give up Chrome on the phone (I don\'t use it on the PC, but... Inertia:
New Oneplus 7T will be released on 26th September.
After the iPhone 11 pro max the Oneplus 7t pro is the next ugliest phone for me.
The teaser shows the camera module with 3 lenses inside a circular boss on the rear which also shows the flash.
It reminds me of a character from the movie toy stoy.

Placed order for Redmi K20 Pro (6GB 128 GB). Not a heavy user and initial plan was to get OnePlus 7.
Is it true Samsung S8 will not get android10? It's a 2017 flagship, barely 2 years old. I really wanted to keep it for another year or two. If this is how Samsung treats their customers, I'll never buy anything from them.

S8 is not part of the list of devices from Samsung that is getting the Android 10 update. Among the S series it is for the S10/S10+/S10e and S9/S9+.

Pixel 1st gen users got update of Android 10, a pleasant surprise, as Google had promised two major updates which they had already got.

Samsung only promises 2 years OS updates with security updates till the 3rd year, don't think you can expect any update post 3 years from launch, so effectively one can use a Samsung device bought at launch, for 3 years. I hope they revise this policy when most flagships now get updates for 3+ years.
Any idea when the Samung A series will get Android 10 update? Specifically A50 device.

As per past trends, A series phones will get the updates around 9 to 10 months after Google releases the stable copy. Expect a May to June 2020 release. But don’t bother with it, most of the improvements made by Google already exist in Samsung devices, and because of the Samsung One UI, you will not be able to find a gross change after the update, except for some minor refinements.
Hey guys,
Looking for a Android phone at around 10k. Which phones are value for money?

Just got (last fortnight) 2x Moto G7 Power to replace the ageing phones of my mother and mother-in-law. Price around 11K on Amazon. Great reviews all over. Randomly picked from search results:
