Here is my utilities menu. No pocket mode.

Any Samsung Note 10+ users here. I want to understand how handy the phone is for day to day usage. Size seems to be almost similar to Iphone 6s Plus.

Oops - thats an unwanted ommission by OnePlus and one that defies logic. Hope this comes to the OP7 series with the imminent update, because this is a pretty useful feature preventing any unintended screen activity when the phone in in the pocket.
Planning to purchase the Samsung Galaxy M30s for my 15 year old son tomorrow. It has 6000mah battery backup, 6Gb RAM and 128Gb storage. Costs 17k. Wanted advice from the experts if there is any other model I should be considering upto 20k.

You are correct. We cannot return the phone :) |
Hope you started using the phone (K20 Pro) by now. Can you share your views on the phone overall and some comments on the camera too?
@vsrivatsa - I am currently out of the country and phone is lying there untouched. On top of it price is coming down to 25K and with the discount it can be bought for 23K tomorrow. It hurts really bad as I lost 4K even before opening the box:D.
But I had a chance to look at its twin brother Mi 9t pro. It is a big phone and with the case it looks even bigger. Photo quality is good but I found front camera shots average. I found all other things good. My current phone is Moto G4 Plus.

You can maybe look at the Realme XT and the Redmi K20.
But the M30S is hard to beat at this price. You also get 1k credited to your Amazon Pay balance (if you buy from STPL seller), plus you get 10% SBI discount. That brings down the price to 14.4k for the 6gb variant and 11.7k for the 4gb variant.

Once i had a luck with Amazon. I managed to return an item that was replacement only. It took a bit of my time chatting with the customer service person in a disappointed tone. After refusing for some time, finally he agreed to take it back. In your case the fact that the phone is not even unboxed may work in favour of you. Stress that point. Just try. Nothing to lose.

Had been eyeing the 15-20K space for past few weeks and was almost decided on getting the A50 through the sale period until i saw the specs on M30S this morning.
Came here to check for any feedback on the phone before placing the order and seeing your post I upsized the order to the 6 x 128 GB variant.

I bought my Note 10 Plus on 1st September, upgrade from a Note 8. I have absolutely no issues with the size, it fits fine with jeans as well. If you are fine with a large form factor, go ahead, you won't regret it. Just walk into any Samsung store, play around with it and your instincts should tell you whether or not it's good for you.
The phone is simply fantastic, fast, fluid and much lighter than my ex Note 8. Fabulous camera/s too. Activate developer mode, reduce the animations to .5x and it flies thru anything you can throw at it.
Not iPhone bashing, but, this evening put it side by side with the iPhone 11 Pro Max and honestly the iphone does not hold a candle against this one. It's better in every which way, only larger in size.
Do let me know if there is anything else and I would be happy to help out.
Cheers

Don't return just ask for a price match. Hopefully things will work out.
a query which hasn't been answered by google
which is the smallest good smartphone available today?
I was very happy with my SE which has gone bad.
Using 2015 bought 16GB iphone 6 now, am happy with the phone for everything except size - no issues with storage, camera, speed etc.
Am a moderate user with least impetus to camera quality or any high end features- reliable small phone which can go in shirt pocket
Please suggest

Nokia 6.1 plus
The 4GB variant is retailing at 9K currently on flipkart owing to the big billion day sale. The 6 GB variant at 12k odd is also running on discount compared to original prices. It is a really good phone at that price which fits into your shirt pocket.

As already pointed out by
Sagarpadaki, the 6.1+ is the perfect replacement for the Iphone 5/5S/SE folks looking to get a similarly sized well specced android device!
