I need to buy a replacement charger for my Pixel 4a. Any recommendations? What are the specs (amperage / wattage) I should look for fast charging?

Any USB PD spec charger would fast charge it. 18W is the max the phone supports, even if the brick is rated for more. I regularly charge my 4a off 65W and 30W USB C laptop chargers depending where in the home I am, never had an issue.

I have had a Moto G82 for almost a year now. It's been working exactly as I thought it would - smooth, uncluttered, with a good battery but weak camera.
After I got my Brezza, I've been having this thought that it might be better to get a wireless charging phone.
What are your thoughts about the upcoming Moto Edge 40?
Or would you suggest any other phone under 30K, with wireless charging?
My only requirement would be that it has as smooth and unbloated an interface as the Moto G82. I don't mind if it's not exactly stock Android.

I am yet to come across a transparent case which didn't turn yellow, came across slimcase ads somewhere, appeared promising, ordered, while it has not turned yellow, it appears diseased. And it's a bit on the expensive side for a clear case. Have tried cleaning with plain water, good baby wash shampoos but no.

And if you really want a premium genuine carbon fiber case, you can have a look at https://latercase.com/ Been using it since past ~18 months in my other phone and they are almost as good as new.

Hi Rex,
From what I know of PE, the sources are built in a way that safetynet passes by default and all apps should work without any hiccups.
A good way to confirm this is to check the device certification in play store settings. You can also ask someone already using PE from the device's telegram group.

Thanks

Thanks, nstark13.
I have a Poco F1 running PEPlus. Will check on that.

The legendary Poco F1 has a interactive community and you can find loads of roms if reviewed on xda or telegram group, hope you find your perfect blend.

Thanks.

Bought the Edge 40 for my wife, she's been using it since 3 weeks and is pretty happy with it.

The only problem is that it's very hard to find a screen protector for this as it has a curved screen. Any recommendations would be very welcome.

I have an old Moto Z Play which has just one problem. A severe battery drain issue.

Could someone recommend a trusted shop in Bangalore where I can get the battery replaced and root the phone as well so I can install a newer OS of android. I intend to ONLY use this phone as a GPS device.

Is Lava really an Indian Phone or just a Chinese Phone pretending to be made in India.

The question though is, how many people would invest Rs.20,000 on a Lava phone.
I'm not one of them.

My wife wants to ditch her Oneplus 7T and I am in the process of convincing her to pick up the Lava, but that effort is likely to end up being fruitless.
I think it's better to hold on to the OP7T.

Friends,

Anybody has any experience with custom ROMs on sourceforge?

Talking of Custom ROM's, I have a OP7P lying at home (i upgraded from it to an iPhone and a Pixel as secondary) and was thinking of De-Googling it. Problem is I'm a bit rusty in installing Custom ROM's. Last I tried was installing Cyanogenmod on a Samsung Galaxy Note 2.

Try out the Spine cases.

Did you mean Spigen?

Me and my wife both use Spigen transparent cases. She got hers here in India and it has started turning yellow with 3-4 months.

I got mine from the US in January this year and it has just about started showing signs of yellowing at one of the edges.

But they offer very good protection, so I am willing to invest in a new one every year.

I remember reading some youtube comment that one plus 8 or vivo 25 pro screen guard matches, please check.

I normally go with the Spigen thin fit - good protection without adding any bulk to the overall form factor

This is the one I have. Anti Yellow blah blah is just a marketing gimmick.

Yes. Looks like autocorrect messed it up.

Me and my wife are using Spigen Cases and Tempered Glass as well a Cases on our iPhone 14 Pro Max's and I'm also using the same on the Pixel. Around 3.5 months now. No yellowing. Lets see how long it stays that way.

That's the primary reason why I bought them.
