Is this normal? The phone is the HTC Explorer and I'm running the stock ROM.

It is not impacting your battery life at all, from the picture. So you shouldn't be worrying about it. These intermittent 'wakes' are quite normal but yours seem to be quite a lot while the screen was off.

Well, I disagree. The only reason I rooted and installed Paranoid Android is because the Stock JB was killing me. My S3 was very slow and most Apps used to hang. Part of it could be due to bloatware but it is lightning fast now.

You don't have to disagree because your S3 was not having the stock Jellybean! What I meant by stock Jellybean is the build that Nexus devices get. Not the ones customized and built by Samsung or HTC or the likes.

I was running stock JB on Nexus 7 and yesterday switched over to Paranoid Android. Smoothness and performance is just about the same.

Now with Paranoid Android, you are getting a taste of pure Android. :)

I loose about 50% of battery in 8 hours of sleep. This is with all the data and sync off. Is this normal ?

If not, then how do i sort out this. Please help. BTW phone is HTC One V.

Not at all. I lose about 5-7% with wifi full time on and sync on at night.

Check in your battery stats which apps eat up battery

That is what bugs me. Could this be because of any misbehaving app? The main apps I have running in the background are Google Maps, Viber, Whatsapp, and a Jellybean Live wallpaper.

I lose exactly 30% overnight with data, sync off if on 3G network. If on 2G, its 1-3%. Between, the phone in question is an Atrix 2 :Frustrati And the irony is I have around 90% deep sleep during this time and both 2G and 3G network have 19asu signal strength (Indian Atrix 2 doesn't go higher than this) :)

Install BetterBatteryStats from XDA/Market and find the culprit.

Before that, try these 2:
1. If Google Currents is installed, uninstall
2. Disable ALL Location Services

If these 2 do not help, you should be able to find the culprit with BetterBatteryStats.

Auto-run applications that wake up the phone are the culprits all the time.

According to the web, you can't load a saved route from Google Maps and use that in Navigation. Does anyone have a work around for it? My phone is a Motorola Atrix 2 though I do not think there is anything specific with this phone that won't allow this functionality.

You cannot do this on your phone. Instead, logon on gmaps an hour before you start, do the route you want to take (zoom in how ever much you want, and go across more tiles), switch off your data, but keep your GPS signal on, and voila!

Mine is less because it is on WiFi so it won't use mobile data at all. If at all there is no Wifi, I have asked Llama in my phone to turn off mobile data from 11:45 to 5:30 am.

Yes, same is the case with me. I have set up Llama in such a way that from 11 to 6.30, no WiFi, no Data. But it simply drains like hell on 3G. I have another Atrix 2 in our office with the same issue. Seems like there's no cure.
