Hmm, I don't need the fastest out there. Don't expect it in my price range.

I am keeping WP8 option open, waiting for Nokia 620 to release, so that I can compare with 8S.

If only Samsung or Sony decided to launch these models in India:

because I call some numbers without looking at (or even unlocking) my phone when driving with headset on.

How is Snapdeal for online purchase?

I am thinking about ordering MMX Canvas HD, which is back in stock & currently only available with Snapdeal for 13990 Rs. However, there are few complaints for snapdeal on net, so want to know if anyone here has any experience with them
(I was thinking about using my Visa Debit card as COD is not available)

Snapdeal is good. Infact, i used it for the first time when i ordered MMX Canvas Hd. It got delivered ahead of time in 2 working days.

@pranav_mankad: slightly off the topic of snapdeal reliability, can you pl. post a review of MMX Canvas HD here? I guess you are one of the first to own it here on TBHP.

Some good news for Galaxy Note (N7000) users. Finally getting jelly beans. Still not available in India though.

Wow. That's great news. Been waiting for this. I hope we can expect the update here in couple of days.

While, I am still waiting for JB update. I am 75% sure that Note will not get updated to next android version 5.0. We would be lucky if it gets updated to 4.2. Alas, once the flagship device, now nobody cares.

Well, thats how it is. But surely CM11(?) will be made available for the Note which was a blockbuster hit :)
But there's still a chance that dual core devices could get KLP.

@ottocycle; This is normal. They do not make any money with an upgrade. In fact it may delay your next purchase. So while paying lip service they just delay and delay. It is a low priority. I am still waiting for Android 4.x for my Incredible2. The CM versions need it to be unlocked with the htc route and not the AlphaRevX or revolutionary way. htc unlock came much later. So I have to go down to locked Froyo, unlock with the htc way, and then climb up the tree again. Not worth my time.

+1

@pranav:
Yeah. Me too ordered two HDs along with a friend from snapdeal. But as we were late, now delivery time is approx 15 march.

Meanwhile how is your experience with it so far? How is screen response? My sis has got one MMX android, but i didnt find touch response that smooth & precise, is it also the case with HD?

Getting excellent battery life on my Desire SV. With 2hr screen on time and 50minutes call, I got this.

Is mobile data disabled?

Mobile data was on for one full day. But no auto refresh enabled. In addition 20 minutes browsing on WiFi.

Got a 19 MB OTA update for the S2 couple of days back. But still on 4.0.4. Am guessing it could either be the Exynos security fix or some ground work for the JB update.
No visible changes.
