On the other hand,if you want a blend of everything and are generally going to stay south of 130-140 kph then go for the OHC.
This is what i dont get. What is it with OHCs and high speeds? I do 160+ all the time, haven't felt un-nerved at any point. Even took it to 195 twice.

All you need is better rubber.

The thread starter did not mention about which version of OHC (Or did i miss it?). Is it 1.3, 1.5 or vtec?

Unless the City is not 1.3, you can stick to it provided the car is good.

satish... i have mentioned in the subject that its a 1.5

few things.

1. Wrongly quoted a S10. Its a 1.6GTX (I have not yet seen the car, my FIL has... hence the wrong assumption). Driven by only one person who does not let his driver touch this one. The drivers get to drive only the accord. He is selling it because he has got a new octavia and does not want to let this idle away.

2. the Honda will be third hand if i get my hands on it. So I guess value for both will depreciate almost the same.

Have driven the honda and find it really good. Have driven a friend's palio before and found it amazing. Will drive this one and let you guys know how it feels.

thanks for ur suggestions.

May be everybody missed.. He said VTEC is 80K old... Is this a good odometer reading to buy it at 3.5 L?? Go for Palio. It will give you around 9 KMPL if driven as a normal guy and not like former F1 driver .

Cheers

Palio 1.2 Sport/13 KMPL/AND IT ROCKS !!!!

80k is too much for any car used. I would prefer something below 50k i.e. if I am looking at a used car buy.

but I maybe wrong.

as its neither vtec nor s10- either gtx or 1.5 makes sense.

as a buyer you need to decide whether you want a japanese gem of an engine

or

European gem of a car.

Now that's a good decision. A new car is always a better (troublefree) option. BTW, are you looking at the WagonR Duo (CNG option) ?
Do you happen to work at TIDEL Park, by any chance ?
