Another what car? post

Guys earlier i made a post for which car to Pick Verna or City. That thread got locked, and rightly so, since after doing some searches and spending some Quality time on TBHP i got most of the Info i needed and had Picked
City.
But right now some family priorities have been set in i have set a budget of 5 lakhs.

* Cars short listed
Santro, Swift, Getz

* Price range
4 - 5 L

* Maintenance & After Sales Service (A.S.S.) expectations
Good

* Average distance traveled per month
Around 1000 Km

* Where car will be mostly used (city / highway / rough roads etc)
City, Occasionally Highway.

* Chauffer driven / self driven
Self - Driven

* Whether the vehicle will be shared by other members of family
I tavel outside India quite often, so my Sister also would be driving the car.

* Any specific requirements from car (ex. Better luggage space, responsive engine, rear seat comfort)

I will be mainly driving in Banaglore Traffic so my main priority is comfortable to Drive in Bumper to Bumper City traffic.
I realize that Santro is very good for city Driving, but i would like to know from you guys, how does Getz/Swift fair in Traffic conditions. I expect a mileage between 10 to 15.
Since i would like my parents to be comfortable in the rear, which would you guys suggest among the three for rear comfort.
What do you guys think about Getz on Highway , how good is it.

Luggage space would be an added bonus, if the car you guys suggest would primarily be good in Traffic conditions and fairly decent on Highway, need not set the Tarmac on fire like the Swift.

* How long you intend on keeping this car (and how important resale is to you)
Not decided, but i guess atleast 4 to 5 years. Resale value is important, though i can live with losing out a bit on Resale value.

Resons i picked the above cars, Santro for Bumper To Bumper traffic conditions.
Getz/Swift for rear seat comfort.
I would like to Pick a car which is Good for Traffic conditions and Rear seat comfort.

I am not against Wagon R, but my mom hates the looks of the car!!!

Varaiants picked
Santro XO
Getz GVS
Swift VXi

Can someone tell me what would be the price of the above cars after discount.?
I will be buying the car in next month.

Please Help

Hey thanks Moral, i am still reading through them
For bumper-bumpre traffic i would like to know from the owners which car would they prefer Getz/Swift.
I would pick a Santro, but i would like the rear comfort which is offered by Getz/Swift.
If both Getz/Swift are not up to mark in bumper traffic, i will get a Santro.

Santro seems to be the best option considering the traffic in bangalore plus u'll save some $$$

If you will be on the back seat in bumper to bumper traffic then why bother about the size of the vehicle? I have a Getz and I am happy with the way it handles in traffic. Doesn't feel bulky.
