Autocar 0-100 times

Zen D * 18.15 sec.
Palio D *19.55 sec.
There is something else in the Autocar

20-80 kmph in 3rd gear (secs)
Palio D - 14.7
Zen D - 16.1

40-100kmph in 4th gear (secs)
Palio D - 20.1
Zen D - 24.0

These figures are more closer to regular driving situations. Here the Palio D beats Zen D by 2 secs and 4 secs. And these differences are more than difference in 0-100 kmph times.

And i wonder how long can Zen D run at 100 KMPH before it explodes it self.

I never said that the Zen is a better overall performer than Palio D. If the Palio D had been launched at the time we got the Zen , we would have gone for the Palio.

I was just cautioning you from racing against a zen d in a palio d.

Anyway , in gear rollons are not that important for me, the new city has better times than the old city vtec in that department.

the Zen D can run at 120 all day long.

BTW, where u from , Iam from Hyderabad.

for all the hyd guys
near tdp office we were abt to hit another zen di!!!!.my friend hit the breaks near the surana office, we stopped in front of tdp main gate with a lot of smoke from the tyres!!!!!!!!!!!!
poor jk ultimas! good thing i was wearing my seatbelt!!

satish and mayur cool it!

i have been in the navigator's seat in both the cars
and here r my two cents

the palio d is faster in motion(i dont care what aci says, what i am writing here is what i felt in both the cars when hitting a few laps around kbr park) and more stable
the zen di is equally fast but takes a little more time and i honestly didnt feeel as safe as i felt in the palio

mileage aspect the zend di wins outright, 18 in city with a/c works out 1 pasie cheaper than my elim or my t'bird

space was more in palio when compared to zen di

over each car has it own strengths and weakness and arethe flag bearers in thier own segment(palio is in getz segment, while zend in santro segment)

one thing which i honeslty feel is that both the cars are capable racers, but all depends on the driver
so chill!!!!

if u guys are still arguing, lets go to runway 9,dump ur cars and show ur skills on the track!

yo mayur are you part of any other sites?? xbhp???wanderers?
what r u studying??which coll??

True,
Zen D isn't bad. 57bhp... 1.5ltr.. torque isn't all that bad.

Hi Aadix,
Ya iam a part of xbhp, but not wanderers. I ride a pulsar 180.
I am studying B.Tech 3rd year at Sree Nidhi.
I never intended to start a war with Satish. I fully accept that the Palio is a much better car than the Zen. Infact, its one of my fav cars in India.

Its just that i got offended by the tone of Satish when he said things such as " Hey Mayur, did u ever taste the power of Palio" or " I wonder how long the Zen D can run at 100 before it explodes itself "

I just wanted to tell him that the zen is more than a match for the Palio in a straight line.

Anyway , its all resolved between me and Satish , i guess :D :D

P.S : how do i upload pics here?? :please:

I never took this as a fight or whatever it is and did not know this is a fight happening until you guys put that here. Let's cool of guys. Just trying to say that Zen is no match for Palio except in few situations and is worth every extra penny the Palio D costs more than Zen. After all I replaced my Zen with Palio and need to prove my point at any cost If I unknowingly hurt you Mayur, I apologize for that.

The stickers on your car really looks cool. I too had some graphix on my Zen but they were not as cools as yours. I agree with Aadix on the Ferrari sticker.

Fortunately I sold my CBZ, otherwise we would have started another debate.

Ok guys, what's happening here, i thought this was supposed to be a Zen D vs Indigo D discussion. How in the world did the Palio D make it's way into this?
