I sold my Palio 1.6 GTX-SP (the one with ABS and Airbags) model and am now looking for another 1.6, but since I am not able to find any, am trying to settle for a 1.2

I was under a lot of pressure from my family to sell it.

There's no kick emo here. I read your blog, really sad that you faced a lot of issues hence sold it.

The old palios have the better rear look. Btw,try hard for a 1.6 sport, but rebadge it as a 1.2 and take it home

You mean, rebadge a 1.2 as a 1.6...right?

TD the Palio 1.2 sport on saturday..
1. As suspected, the left-front drive shaft needs replacement
2. the right front fender has been replaced and repainted (looks more orangish instead of the bright red)
3. the right front lamp is dirty on the inside and needs replacement
4. left fog lamp not working and needs repalcement
5. suspension very very hard.
6. other minor nitty gritties as well.

Keeping all these in mind, I quoted him a price of 2.05L - 2.1L. He was going to decide and let me know.

I know I was a little liberal on the price, so let me see if he will get back to me.

Hope for the best

Hey Gods-envy,

Hope you are doing good. Thats the max price considering the fact that all the repairs will be done by him for a price of 2.1L. Anything above is too deep for that car.

@ravi,
i am doing great
well the price that i have quoted is without him doing the repairs.
Well let me wait for him to get back to me.

i think he might not get back to me, but still I dont want to pay a lot for the car as well.

so, hows ur GTX doing

hi all,
One more update,
That guy dint get back to me, so possibly he was not ok with my price of 2.1

happened to check another Palio 1.2-NV sports, 2005 model, 30k+ driven, single owner
Checked the car, pretty good, well maintained, music system, etc etc

he is quoting a price of 2.65 which i obviously think is on the higher side.
what do u guys think?

yes buddy, its a Red one, but not a 1.6, its a 1.2 sports

but still am pretty happy with the car
currently has a K&N performance Air filter.
Planning to go for a nice FFE as well
performance in the city is pretty good enough....obviously cannot be compared with the 1.6 though (had a 1.6 previously)

All in all, am pretty happy and satisfied with the car
