That's a strange choice - a petrol 5 year old Hatch and a latest Diesel hatch.

performance wise both cars are equally good in their own ways.

Of course the i20 in my opinion is a more sensible buy though a bit pricey.

I'd say if performance is your main criteria - then why not the Fiesta 1.6 SXi ??

i20 would probably be a better choice with the fresh looks and spacious interiors... there is no major difference in performance to debate... safety is definitely a lot better in i20. sorry for being blunt, but i personally would never feel that safe in maruti cars even if they were to give 6 air bags ! may be FE & cheap spares is their speciality area... so if you are not a cost conscious buyer, then you can take it off your list.

Hi Shalin

Could you share the OTR price and the freebies you are being offered ? I'd be interested to know what i can bargain for... I might end up with an i10, but if the bargain is good, would consider an i20 too !

Thanks.

I booked the top of the line 1.4 CRDi Asta Manual. It costs me around 8L on road with sunroof and 6 airbags.

As far as the freebis are concerned, I'm getting teflon and anti-rust coating with the floor and boot mats + mud flaps. Alloys are standard

Shalin
