Do post some more pics, both interior and exterios. Which dealer did you get it from?
Thanks guys. Pics once I get the number plates fixed and have the car washed. The dealer is Hilton Hyundai.

off topic: is it parked infront of your home? if so why two rows of pillars? just curious
Thank you. Yes it is my home. It is a recent addition when we renovated our old house. The "architect" insisted that those were an aesthetic necessity. Structurally, not even half of those are needed.

Would advise you get better tyres. 175 if you can. Turenza would be a good buy.

And those internally adjustable mirrors; gives the car a more neat look IMHO.
Thanks, JK. Tyres are a no go. I will have a hard time convincing my folks. Mirrors are certainly on the big list I am preparing. In a few months, once the sail catches wind again.

Hi dark,

Congrats on your up gradation to santro. Did you get your number. I believe you are waiting to get it in 2010. That is fine if it is the plan. Why don't you post the interior pictures.

Congratulations!

Get Michelin XM1 155/70 R 13 shoes for your Santro, they make a whole lot of difference to the overall ride, handling and highway stability to the car. Mine has covered about 67,000 km and still going strong.

Your car already has more of "brown" shade in beige/ brown 2 tone combo interiors IIRC.

Sinindica, what is that vertical screwdriver type thing on the right hand side of the front console, (little to forward of the gear shift, aside what seems like power window switches)?

I think you are referring to the gear-lock lever!

Its a gear lock lever. Its for 2 reasons:
  • to prevent the car from getting stolen when stationery.
  • When moving, if someone distracts me while I drive, I take that thing out and hit on his b**t.
OT: have I created any sin? Kya maine koi paap kiya hai that you changed my name from sid to sinindica?

Thank you. I went through your ownership thread before making my decision . Yes, it has a dual tone interior.

OT: I thought you have sold your car.

Is the brown dash standard now or do we get the grey colour too that we used to have earlier?

Thank you. Yeah, the bumpers will be left as it is for some time.

I don't think that a choice is available. Nobody asked us when we booked it. Moreover, per their brochure, the "two tone beige and brown interior" is touted as an improvement. So, I presume they don't make ones in grey anymore.
