For both Spark and Beat, Warranty = 3 years or 100,000 kms. I'm not sure if that is different from "3 year maintenance program"?

Please consider the Beat option pack with ABS and airbags. Safety cannot be undermined and these features would be much more expensive in the Punto.

Hi Congrats. This is probably the first booking of Swift with K series engine on Team BHP. Did you manage the test drive of the same? Do post your views on the Swift with the new heart

I will choose Punto Active over Beat LT. I testdrove two cars on a single day. Beat is very uncomfortable due to lack of thigh support in front as well as rear. This will make long journeys very uncomfortable. I and my friend were in same dilemma whether to choose Beat or Punto. And when we test drove Punto then we realized that Punto is the car for my friend. Here is comparison
1) Punto looks great. Beat has small car look. Nothing special about looks
2) Punto Active interiors are better than Beat LT. Punto gives feeling of big car. The Feel inside punto was really great. Beat comes nowhere close to Punto Feel.
3) Punto is sturdy and has better build. Beat feels like it is small car.
4) You can say Beat has no boot and Punto has biggest boot considering it is hatchback.
5) Drive: Punto wins by big margin. Cant think of beat here.
6) Punto has advantage because it is Punto. I mean image wise Punto is any day better.

Congrats on the purchase, so which variant did you choose. Also did the dealer mention the time period for delivery .

Do you mean safety is not important in the city?

Actually the problem is only in certain places and it is a dealer issue. Otherwise Skoda is a top quality product.

I checked too. The offer is on all Chevys except the Beat. They'll probably offer it on the Beat later when the sales fall.

The 3 year service promise is very much available on the Beat. I didn't say it was free though. You have to pay for it. Even then, its reassuring to know exactly how much your car is going to cost you in upkeep.

You got it wrong mate. What I meant was when you are going to drive the car in city for 90% of the time then it does not make much difference if the car is underpowered. Look at most popular city cars and check the power to weight ratio.
