Interesting. Ford shows even as low as 8 or 0 km.

Anyways if it shows '--' then the driver should be cautious and fill-up. Period.

Ramon, I empathize with you over this experience and the fact that you got stuck at night with the family. Write to the Chairman of Maruti. Post your thoughts on Facebook. But on the other hand when we invest Rs 10 lakhs of our hard earned money on an asset it is equally our responsibility to apply our common sense and look at the fuel gauge knowing that most new cars a re delivered with minimum fuel. Clearly the delivery team pulled a fast and shallow one on you and woe to them. But it is our car and our money we need to take ownership too. Sorry if this is not what you wished to hear.
