Re: Rishabh Hyundai sold a Test Drive vehicle!

This is a very sad situation. Even with Hyundai getting involved, you still seem to have got a bad car the second time round. Check if Rishabh is willing to refund your entire money and if so, take it and RUN. After that if you are still happy with the vehicle, go to another Hyundai dealer. Otherwise pick up another car.

Truly sad that you have had a decidedly unpremium experience at a highly premium price. Start rattling some cages, let your voice be heard. Nothing less than a full refund should be acceptable, why spend even rs. 20 on something you're not happy with/don't want, let alone rs. 20 lakhs!

Do whatever you have to do, get away now while you can. If this is the experience you're subjected to before you get possession of the car, what will it be once you're stuck with it? Scary thought. Head over to the Japs while you still can, good luck my friend.

Mpuri,

I think you have been too soft with these guys. Get yourself a good lawyer and file a complaint, demand your full payment back. Also put in your complete story on all social media sites possible, especially Hyundai home pages, both the India home site as well as the international one. The dealer seems to be a thug, nothing else.

Get your money back and look for another car. Maybe this car is one of those crash tested ones!

Clearly you have had a bad experience and it wouldnt go away any time soon. You can never get the happiness and satisfaction of buying a new car with this car. So suggest you to get your money back and move on...

Well, it is about time, either the dealer solves the issue amicably with us or we go for legal action.

Will keep you guys posted.
Now it is hightime that you should give an ultimatum to the dealer and Hyundai India for legal action and threaten that the MD/CEO of Hyundai India will be made a party to this. If they don't sort out the matter within the timelimit, then you should go for legal action. Take the advice of a good lawyer in advance about the possible options.

Instead of going for a replacement vehicle ask for 100% refund and compensation for mental trauma.

It's a common practice that dealers sell the test drive vehicles after 6 months to 1 year of usage based on the manufacturer. But then these cars are sold at a heavy discount.

They are as good as second hand cars as they would have been driven by many users and would have clocked easily close to 500 test drives.

If the dealership has sold the house vehicle As a new vehicle its a huge concern.

But then there would be many such cases that the dealership would be aldready handling in the courts. For them it would be just another case but then for us it would take a lot of money.

After all its Caveat Empetor
