wow,

a city like bangalore and only 1 dealer for the fiats - they sure are getting nowhere fast...

i understand why it takes a brave man to buy a fiat in todays day and age...

btw, fiat sold 350 cars in Jan2005 as against 200 cars in Dec 2004. thanks in part to loyalists on team BHP i guess

...as the marketing dudes would put it 'fiat sales increases by 75% since dec2004'

There is a new twist in my situation. I am planning to move my company to Mysore somewhere next year. Is there a Fiat service center in Mysore? I have no idea...

Before the fiat india web site went down, I had checked their dealers and service center list. According to that list they have only 3 dealers and 15 authorised service center in Karnataka. That time I didn't check about service center in Mysore, although I saw one in Udupi.

Well, I checked it long back when the Fiat India site was still up and running. I guess if there is an authorised service center in Udupi, there certainly has to be one in Mysore. But according to my knowledge, Mysore does not have a Fiat showroom. One fine day, I also am planning to shift my residence to Mysore and work from home from Mysore. That looks like a better proposition than being in B'lore which is crowded beyond limits.

I know there is no Fiat dealership in Mysore. However, not so sure about the service center. We are planning the Mysore move since the company can't afford decent office in Bangalore, the RE market is just crazy. Don't even talk about traffic , crowd or pollution.

I can come down to Bangalore for all the routine service or mods at RAC. However, not sure about the emergency situations.
