Best paint shop would be indisputably Pandit & Co. in Okhla Ph III.

But he's expensive.

I know I'll have to leave car for a day or two,but leaving it with Fiat is worse than parking it in junk yard. They are such experts in exchanging parts.

Well Autopsyche is someone who has a good name in this field and so is Pandit & Co. I read an article regarding Pandit's expertise in restoring old cars.

Moreover, does any of the above two has an all professional paint booth. I mean totally enclosed, no chances for dirt entering etc.

Bump Bump.
Pandit & Co is indisputably the best in Delhi/NCR but expensive as well but quality comes at a price.
Any idea how much do they charge for the Hatch dent/paint?

If you want the "perfect job" with no shortcuts, go to Pandit & Co in Okhla. That is if you want to spend serious money of restoring an old 800.

There are other not so known names, who would be cheaper. You could try talking to local garages in your area, even get a quote on the job from Maruti Dealerships & then make an informed assessment.

Cheers

HI. Ashish It is a good decision to restore the best selling car of 1984 er .Before you start restoration I will advise you to buy it's ORIGINAL tail lights, headlights sealed beams, garnish strips, monograms, front grille, front grille monograms, driver side door mirror,as most of these items will have to be replaced since the car is almost 25 years old, they will be available easily but they will be of indian poor copy of the original ones which were japanese in those days. Please post it's photos as it's condition now and also during it's restoration period.
