I test drove a SLK 350 just last week, when I had gone to the local MB showroom to get my dad's C-class serviced. The car is an absolute pleasure to drive, handles extremely well. The diesels are going to be available here early next year. The car is priced on-road at approx. Rs. 62 lakhs (its AUD 127,950). But this is with the AMG package though. The magic sky roof is just amazing, but it is a $5000 extra(approx. Rs. 2.5 lakhs!).

I'm getting really tempted to place an order for one, as MB are currently offering a 0% interest finance at the moment here

Real fun will be when merc launches the diesel version of slk here. If I am not mistaken, we dont have a diesel convertible here in India, do we? And z4 definitely do not have diesel yet.

Hello,

We already have the wonderful BMW 330d launched recently and will be at the showrooms anytime soon, its a hard top convertible, while it has 4 seats it's best a 2 seater.

SLK 250CDI is 2012 the second diesel convertible in the country,

Is it just me or are the rear tail lamps resembling to those of the current c class ??
And one thing i cant understand is that why is there so much part sharing in each and every Mercedes?? Take the center console for that matter the switch gear, the gear knob , the ac vents etc etc etc..
WHY??
