The problem with increasing the Ex-showroom is that the we end up paying additional taxes to the government.
Also, many times, the discount will be on top of the highly inflated dealer insurance rates. We need to check the fine print if the 1.5 lacs discount is applicable of one takes insurance from outside.

Citroen C3 & C3 Aircross offered with Rs 1.5 lakh discount

Citroen had earlier announced festive discounts worth Rs 1 lakh on its cars. Now, the carmaker is offering additional benefits worth Rs 50,000 on the C3 and C3 Aircross.

Both the C3 and C3 Aircross are now available with discounts of up to Rs 1.5 lakh. Citroen is also offering a 5-year extended warranty and fuel for a year free.

The Citroen C3 is the brand’s entry-level offering. It comes with two engine options. These include a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that makes 81 BHP and 115 Nm and a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol unit that puts out 108 BHP and 190 Nm.

On the other hand, the C3 Aircross is a mid-size SUV. It is powered by the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine and comes in 5-seater and 7-seater configurations.

Citroen is also offering discounts of up to Rs 2 lakh on its flagship SUV, the C5 Aircross.

The offers on the C3 and C3 Aircross are valid on deliveries till December 31, while C5 Aircross customers can avail of the benefits till November 30, 2023.

Offer valid till Nov 30 2023 is the funniest thing Citroen is doing!!

That may be true though. Because after Nov 30, they might offer a 2 lakh discount.

Is it worth buying C3Aircross at 2 Lakhs discount? I need a turbo petrol. I am told that the engine is good even for a larger car.

Only an automatic might help Citroen shell some numbers, these discounts might be lucrative but lacks the reach.

Maruti's post Diwali and year end discounts were advertised yesterday. Now that the sheen of the festival season has vanished in thin air, the MSIL team must have done this homework much earlier. In fact, they would have been waiting for Diwali to end and were waiting to immediately flash these discount advertisements through the media.

This is their ARENA portfolio and the fatter NEXA line-up could be following suit. The Alto K-10 gets tagged with the highest figure of Rs 62,000. Celerio and S-Presso are cheaper by Rs 56,000, while Swift is offered for Rs 52,000 less and the Wagon-R gets a Rs 46,000 discount figure. The Eeco is cheaper by Rs 29,000 while the DZire gets the least of all at Rs 17,000 discount figure. These calculations are surely based on the demand versus availability/production/inventory statistics.

The Alto K-10 with the highest discount of Rs 56 K and the Swift too with the Rs 52 K figure shows MSIL itself acknowledging the ground truth regarding market demand shift and drift from these two, once best sellers, towards the Baleno.

Added to these figures will be the dealer discounts at the retail level, where the customer's bargaining skills play a role.

What is the catch with free fuel for 1 year? May be they assume that in one year the owner would drive 10,000 KMs and the car gives 20 KMPL so 500 Litres of fuel which is around Rs. 50,000 of cashback? I have never heard of such deals before. Quite innovative and catches ones attention.

Hello all. I’m in the market for a 20L SUV. Post quite a bit of negotiation, I’m being offered a 1.2 lakhs discount on Kushaq MY24 White 1.5 DSG style variant. Anyone who recently purchased a similar variant can shed light on running offers? Will help calibrate my expectations from the dealer/brand.

Is it the 2023 manufactured model? Or are they offering discount on next year model?

It’s the next year model, MY24 with electric seats

Thanks. So, does it mean you will get the delivery in 2024, of the car manufactured in 2024? And they are offering a discount already, for you to be in the queue for 2024 delivery of an yet it be launched model ?

I'm a bit confused, as sometimes car companies may use model year differently than what we are used to in India. For example, I have seen models in US would not be referred as per calendar year but in India, we always refer to model as per its year of manufacturing irrespective of what the company wants to call it.

Skoda is calling it the 2024 model/update. It’ll be a 2023 manufactured, likely Oct 2023, the latest model/facelift version. Does it seem like a good discount?

I too am in the market for kushaq/slavia. None of the dealers in Bangalore have offered anything on MY24 model despite multiple attempts. MY23 models are getting around 1L discounts in Bangalore. Do get written confirmation over mail from the dealer.

Please do share the breakup of 1.2L for my reference.
