Is the auto-lock at and beyond 40kmph in i20 a feature introduced with the 2011 model? I have 2010 Dec model, and it does not come with the standard equipment.

Since this is quite detailed, it would be worth mentioning if the spare tyre is alloy or not. I found it very useful in case of i20. This was later discontinued in the 2011 variant with the introduction of factory fitted Bluetooth and a few other features.

Punto has ABS+EBD. But its shown as an N in the chart

@sanjaykk: There is another comparison at a lower price band wherein i've compared all these cars and Beat, Brio, i10 and Ritz as well. I'm updating that currently and it will be up by today evening. Since Ritz is a size smaller (I'm talking quantitatively w.r.t. the wheelbase & boot space, except Swift) than all the cars in this comparison, it doesn't figure here.

Superb thread jessie. Fantastic compilation. The more I looked at the comparison chart, the more I got confused in an attempt to find out that one hatch which scores a near 10. Unfortunately one such does not exists.

Surprised to see the Fuel cut off on inertia feature missing in Figo when its available in Fiesta. Emergency braking flashers in Figo - is is available in the refreshed model?

@jessie - would love to know which of these hatches have disk brakes as standard?

As per Figo's latest brochure, it does have 'Emergency Braking Flashers' which they call 'Rapid Deceleration Warning'.

All hatchbacks (in fact all cars) except the Nano have front disk brakes as standard. Only the i20 gives rear disk brakes in their ABS equipped diesel variants (Sportz - Rs 7.11 lakhs & Asta - Rs 7.57 lakhs) and the 1.4 litre automatic petrol variant (Sportz AT - Rs 7.57 lakhs). Prices are ex-showroom Delhi.
