Both the cars belong to the same family. G55 is owned by the father whereas H1 is owned by a son. There are more exotic cars in their garage. Political family you see.

The railway station is Vasai Road (WEST) and the place where the RTO is located is called as Manikpur. Its close to the station and you can find shared autos taking you there from the station itself.

The closest railway station is virar. Should be around 6-7 kms from virar station (east) towards NH8.

Does anybody have information about how much is the LBT amount for vehicles being registered under the MH 48 RTO ??

My dealer says that LBT amount has to be directly paid by the customer and also can be paid at a later date.

Re: Info on the new RTO at Vasai (Maharashtra)?

Hello,

I believe, RTO has divided Thane in two parts - Thane City & Thane - Rural. Cars registered under Thane City (MH-04) RTO will have to pay Octroi, while Cars Registered under Thane Rural (MH-48) will be Octroi free (as it was earlier in case of MH-04). I came to know of this because recently one of my colleague got his Car registered under MH-48 series as his hometown is in Saphale & did not had to pay octroi.

RTO has also assigned new series MH-47 for RTO Borivali & State Government is currently (since last 1 year) looking for a place in Borivali. Whenever this new RTO in Borivali opens it will cater to Malad, Kandivali, Borivali & Dahisar areas.

Thanks,

Hello,

Andheri RTO is going to be mordenized & it waill be partially shifted to Malavni in Malad West within next two months.

The developer will take approx two years for the modernization of test tracks, inspection grounds, to introduce car driving simulators, etc.

However, facilities like paying taxes, issuing permits for commercial vehicles, preparing RC books and other paper work will continue at the Andheri premises.
