Volvo S60, S80 Refresh, New XC90 Coming. Edit: S80 launched at Rs. 41.35 lakh

Volvo is working on a major refresh for its model lineup in the future. On the sidelines of the Paris Motor Show, the Swedish company’s head of marketing, Doug Speck, told Autonews Europe that they are planning a facelift for two of their sedans.

Volvo has launched the facelifted S80 sedan in India.

The car is available with a choice of two diesel engines - D4 and D5.
D4 specs: 1984cc, 5-cylinder, turbo diesel, 163 hp, 400 Nm, 6-speed automatic transmission
D5 specs: 2400cc, 5-cylinder, turbo diesel, 215 hp, 440 Nm, 6-speed automatic transmission

The D4 and D5 are priced at Rs. 41.35 lakh and Rs. 44.80 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), respectively.

Dear Aditya, would you or other fellow BHPians know about user experience with the S80 - either the latest facelift version or the earlier one. It is one of the cars I am evaluating for replacing my Skoda Superb over the next few months but do not have any inputs on actual medium term user experience. The dealer gave me 6 customers of Volvo to speak with but none were of the S80.
