Those cars (Indica etc) have a proper metal hatch on which both the Windshield and the wiper motor is mounted. The hatch is designed to carry that motor, even if its not, by virtue of the structure it can carry some deadweight (say of the wiper motor/arrangement).

In comparison, the Brio, does not have a proper hatch, but a swinging glass, which might not be able to carry the weight of the motor.

For a situation like this, a little out-of-box arrangement can easily resolve it, by hanging the motor with a swing arrangement on the top (on the steel beam), or use a vacuum operated system as in prehistoric Jeeps.
