M&M is running a contest to identify upto 6 new features on the new XUV. Here is the link to identify the first 3 features.

I have mentioned the 2 above. The 3rd one is the new alloy wheels.

"Hand brake engaged" and "seat belt not worn" audio message alert is present in my 2010 Scorpio SLE too, and the XUV gets it now????

Cheers,
Vikram

From what I could infer, the larger HU display now indicates the door ajar warning, parking brake warning and the seat-belt warning sign.

The current XUV already indicates those in the MFD (image).

That might be so, but the image in p'arth's post clearly indicates that the "voice messaging system" part of it as a new feature, hence the comparison with the old Scorpio.

Cheers,
Vikram

Thank you to a Team-BHP fan (who prefers to remain anonymous) for sending us this information. Heartfelt gratitude for sharing it with other enthusiasts!

Mahindra will soon be launching the XUV500 facelift. Last month, we had brought you clear images of the vehicle (click here to read report). Now, here are some more details about the car.

The XUV500 will get a new top-of-the-line variant, which will be called W10. This variant will be priced approximately Rs. 1 lakh more than the W8. The vehicle gets a new DVD-compatible infotainment system with a 7-inch screen. This screen doubles up as a display for the reversing camera, which has a zoom function. The W10 will also be equipped with all the features that we had seen on the XUV500 Xclusive Edition plus a start/stop button and new black and beige interior. Additionally, the ORVMs of the car get a new light on the lower surface, which lights up the road with "XUV500" lettering when they are open.

Unfortunately, Mahindra will not launch an automatic version of the XUV500 with this facelift.

Got a call from the dealer today. Below is what he said:
• Official launch date is 26th May.
• W10 variant is offered – Not sure what are the extra options offered in this variant.
• No discounts

Other than what we already know, below is the additional info I got from him:
• New colours are introduced – One colour is flame orange
• 7 inch infotainment with blue colour theme instead of the current orange/red
• Suspension has gone through some modifications
• Interior is beige and black

Only W10 will get the facelift ??
What about other W's ?

@ Inder, every variant gets a facelift :). It's the W10 that's coming with the additional features.
