My only worry is if the TATA would ever pass the emission norms prevalent there..

Call me crazy but, I would love to see an Indian made car in USA.
I know that Bajaj Chetaks are sold here..But not an Indian Car..

Do you think TATA will ever want to sell cars in USA?.
worked for Tata and I think that car is too small for usa.
Doesn't look safe. would be scared to get hit by an Escalade if I was driving a NANO.

Or safety norms

One way around that is the Show or Display law which allows vehicles of historical or technological value to be imported and driven without the need for any of these tests. Jerry Seinfeld got his Porsche 959 into the country using this law.

Tata has to improve a lot on the quality and predictability of their vehicles to enter markets like US. It is a place every year around 100+ new models are introduced.

Yes, Tata will export its models soon to US.

They will be called "Land Rover" & "Jaguar" any question?

They are also working on Electric powered / hybrid ACE for US.

Any ambitious automobile company can not ignore US market. Especially Recession strikes, Oil price shoots up, Cheaper cars. It doesn't mean they need to be low quality.

When Scorpio enters that market why not next gen Safari's and Indica's march there with latest technology and safety norms?

what happens when a Nano is hit by an Escalade? Well, same thing as when an Escalade is hit by an 18-wheeled wide load long haul tractor trailer.

Absolutely true. I am in Milan since last one month and have seen quite a few Indicas here.
