Re: Mercedes-Benz E-Class All-Terrain launched at Rs. 75 lakh

A rather strange launch from Mercedes India. I am not sure who will want to spend so much for a jacked up luxury estate, when you have loads of top notch SUV's around.

This format of a car or jacked up estate is very popular in New Zealand. Outdoor explorations off the beaten track are a regular among folk here. Still; you'd find someone taking a Subaru Outback into the woods and not a Mercedes.

Re: Mercedes-Benz E-Class All-Terrain launched at Rs. 75 lakh

Yawn, another week, another Mercedes CBU launch. Can the company please spend time on more relevant products instead of wasting resources on these pointless cars? And such a lazy effort - even the images in the press release are of a left-hand-drive car.

Dead on arrival. Estates don't sell in India (segment has shrunk worldwide too). SUVs give you the same space, but more style. And after spending 90 lakhs on the road, what do I get? A big heavy AWD car powered by a puny 2.0L diesel with just 400 Nm of torque?

What a DUMB launch.

If someone does end up buying it, better keep it for long. The face has 'depreciation disaster' written all over it.
