2005 Swift is the sole reason why manufacturers launched i10, i20, Figo, Polo, Punto, Baleno, Liva, Micra, Vista, Pulse, Beat, Jazz, Ritz, Altroz and Tiago in Indian market with one motive to beat Swift's sales.

Yet, after 16years, Swift continues to be the King of hatchbacks in India.
