No, not sales figures alone.
If one observes objectively, the Vento / Rapid twinning was perhaps one of the better success stories compared to say, the Scala / Sunny , the Micra / Pulse debacles. Also the Vento-Rapid product agreement between the two OEM's were quite flexible . Respective OEM's were given quite a bit of leeway in terms of design/styling & engineering freedom.
TKML is studying the larger picture, rather than focussing solely on retail strategies to make their venture with Suzuki a success. How far or how successfully they'll be able to translate that to ground reality, is another story altogether.
