Re: Mahindra TUV300 facelift launched at Rs. 8.49 lakh

Just after the launch of 2019 facelift, it was clearly mentioned in the official website of TUV300 that the chassis has been derived from 3rd generation Scorpio. However it is no where to be seen now.
This piece of information isn't discussed anywhere, neither in automotive magazine reviews nor in first-ride tests.
I wonder if this has really a new chassis, or if this is just a marketing gimmick.

As of today, the only place where we can see this is the official demo video of facelift TUV 300 (01:23) =>

Re: Mahindra TUV300 facelift launched at Rs. 8.49 lakh

Mahindra is calling the facelift version as "Refresh" model. Visited VVC Mahindra at Kompally Hyderabad and got below quotation for T10(O) variant.

Ex-Showroom Price: 10,25,369
Insurance: 60,654
Life Tax: 1,46,690
TCS: 10,254
Incidental Charges: 6,400

Total: 12,49,367
Discount: 29,650

On-Road: 12,19,717

I did not bargain anything further. Exchange bonus of 20,000 + Corporate Discount of 5,000.

Insurance is 3 years (1 year comprehensive + 2 years 3rd part)

Insurance can be purchased from outside, but SA promised that they will match whatever quotation we get from outside, so another 12-15 k discount.

That is the new road tax for telangana 14% of vehicle cost. Experts correct me if I am wrong.

Re: Mahindra TUV300 facelift launched at Rs. 8.49 lakh

I posted this earlier on the TUV official review page and just realised that there is a discussion already here on the new TUV.

Has anyone seen or test driven the new TUV? I'm curious to know and understand the changes.

Also, since the original launch had numerous niggles, which were addressed only over time and the new owners bore the brunt, will that be a case for this new model as well?

Any thoughts on both queries above would be very appreciated. Thanks.

The 2020 Mahindra TUV300 Plus (facelift) has been spied once again, courtesy PowerDrift. Apart from the exterior changes and new features, the MY2020 model will pack a BS-VI compliant engine as hinted by the AdBlue tank next to the fuel filler cap.

Does it make sense to buy the new TUV 300 ? Especially for touring, from cities to offbeat places in the mountains. Does the RWD with MLD suffice the lack of 4WD? Also considering the not so bright future of diesel!

Ask our member mi2n or check out his glorious travelogues to the Himalayas. His Tank has no MLD and yet has been driven with 0 problems up there and even in snow.

As for the future of diesels...it is anybody's guess.

2020 TUV300 caught testing. A marazzo was accompanying the car.
