Mahindra Bolero B2 (entry-level variant) launched at Rs. 7.64 lakh

Mahindra has launched the Bolero B2, the new entry-level variant of the SUV, at a starting price of Rs 7.64 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Bolero B2 gets safety features like ABS, driver airbag and reverse parking sensors.

Considering current economic situation and low numbers for Bolero in last few months, i think this is good move. Many Bolero users are anyways not buy it for fancy features, it's basically used for rough use in rural areas. Hope they will do some better numbers with this model.

Off topic - Mahindra needs to get new model for Bolero now. Its in the market for long time now. After all people wants & like new things.

Almost all the articles posted on auto magazines for Bolero B2 have been taken down including the zigwheels link mentioned, And I don't see this variant on Mahindra's website either.
I could find only IndianAutoBlogs article still up mentioning this variant

Why not? They already have one that generates 300nm at 1500 rpm -

There are quite a few from Ford, Hyundai and others that generate/ generated beautiful torque pretty at nice low RPMs!

So I have to ask considering how the manufacturers claim that they have internal crash tests as per Government standards. How is this ageing vehicle passing one in 2020?
