New feature additions I'm able to make out are Keyless Entry, Start Stop Button and Boot open button/sensor? at on the tailgate and on the control panel below ICE. Nice looking wheels . The inside side air vents seems to sport the camo color also.

As with every new feature in a new/FL Tata product, you win some and you lose some. Bye bye Auto Climate Control.

Tata Motors is scheduled to launch the updated Tiago NRG on August 4. We have received more images of the car that reveal some more details about it.









According to the spotter, there will be only one variant of the NRG. It will be based on the ZX variant of the Tiago. The car spotted sported a green colour, which looks great.





The car gets a new radiator grille with new tri-arrow detailing, which is similar to the more expensive Tata cars and new Hyper Style wheels, which are steel rims that look like alloy wheels. It gets plastic cladding and a rear bumper with a silver skid plate, non-functional roof rails, keyless entry, an engine start/stop button, keyless boot opening, smartkeys with buttons for unlocking the boot & operating the headlights and an electromagnetic boot release instead of a traditional lever.







Other features include a black roof, black ORVMs, blacked-out B-pillars, partially blacked-out C-pillars and a rear-view camera. On the inside, the Tiago NRG gets a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit, which is expected to have Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The car also gets manual air-conditioning and a digital instrument cluster.







The Tiago NRG is expected to use the same 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine as the regular Tiago. This unit makes 85 BHP and 113 Nm. Transmission options are likely to include a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 5-speed AMT.

The tri-arrow grill has been used from the tigor, I think, and it looks good. Also, if there is going to be a substantial increase in price for the NRG edition, Tata needs to give it a projector headlamp setup(It was available in the bs4 tiago), which is what the tiago needs IMO.

While the cladding all around looks good, along with the roof rails, I simply can't take my eyes off the boot cladding, and not in a good way.
Also, I wish they'd add ACC to the list of features. Makes the dash look a lot more premium and is a major feel good feature in a top-end variant.

Am coming from the celerio thread and boy howdy the difference in the design is night and day.

The worst looking Tamo product will be the equivalent of the best MS product.

The next gen Tiago looks good though it appears as though the changes are only cosmetic

The tiago looks good now. If Tata launches an EV in Tiago, it'll sell like hot cakes. The cluster, HU and steering looks identical to Nexon, which is a good thing.

I hope Tata gets its QC right this time at least. Great products but not so great dealership/service experience.

The place where i reside in chennai, I see a lot them and a good amount of Altroz too.

But as you mentioned there is a huge prize gap between Tiago and Altroz. If one can stretch the budget Altroz is no brainer.

Shouldn't it be XZ instead? Though it's understandable by several, newer ones may get confused.

2021 Tata Tiago NRG launched at Rs 6.57 lakh for the petrol-MT variant and Rs 7.09 lakh for the petrol-AMT variant.



The Tiago NRG also gets a new dual-tone 15-inch hyperstyle wheels . It is available in four color options - Foresta Green, Snow White, Cloudy Grey and Fire Red.



In terms of dimensions, the Tiago NRG is 37mm longer, with the extra body cladding at the front and rear. The ground clearance has also gone up by 11mm, taking it up to 181mm now.

On the inside, the dashboard layout remains mostly identical to the standard Tiago, The dashboard and the seats are finished in an all-black shade, with contrasting trim elements around the AC vents and gear lever.



The Tiago NRG also gets a push button start/stop and keyless entry over the standard Tiago. Based on the top-spec trim, the Tiago NRG comes with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, Harman sound system.



The Tiago NRG remains mechanically unchanged from the standard Tiago with power figures remaining at 86bhp and 113Nm, from a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine . The Tiago NRG is available with both the 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox options.

Tata Motors has launched the updated Tiago NRG in India. The car is based on the Tiago facelift that was introduced earlier this year and is priced from Rs. 6,57,400 (ex-showroom).



The Tiago NRG features the same front fascia as the Tiago hatchback. The updated front end has a sharper-looking radiator grille and reprofiled headlamps, while body cladding and roof rails add a rugged look.



The interior of the Tiago NRG is identical to its hatchback sibling. The Charcoal Black interior gets contrast side air vents and fabric seats with Deco stitch. The car is equipped with an engine start/stop button, electric folding ORVMs and rear parking camera.



The Tiago NRG rides on 15-inch Hyperstyle wheels and features re-tuned dual path suspension. It has a ground clearance of 181 mm.

The Tiago NRG is available with the same 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine as the regular Tiago. This unit makes 85 BHP and 113 Nm. It is available with a choice of a 5-speed manual gearbox or 5-speed AMT.

The front looks good on this facelift Tiago NRG, infact this Tiago NRG version looks better than the prefacelift one as the facelift Tiago has some good edgy design which adds to the sporty design appeal of NRG, although the backside looks a bit cluttered.
Also what i see this time they have added a good color palette.
A 11 mm increase in ground clearence! Is it just because of bigger 15 inch tyres or the suspension? I see they have mentioned re-tuned dual path suspension but yet, is it stiffening or by any chance increase in length? If they have retuned the Tiago NRG to a bit stiffer suspension then it will be awesome, as the current Tiagos although have a cushy suspension set up which is awesome at slow speeds, the same is not good on highways as at times the car tends to get bouncy, especialy after a year of use.

The Tata Tiago NRG is priced at Rs 6.57 lakh for the manual (Rs 14,000 more than the top-end Tiago), and Rs 7.09 lakh for the AMT variant. That said, the Nexon starts at Rs 7.19 lakh - about Rs 10,000 more than the Tiago NRG.

This will eventually confuse customers.

Tiago was launched in 2016 and at launch time, the petrol top end was 4.75L.

5 years down the line, the price has touched 6.57L, a whopping 38-40% increase!.

In the above quoted pic it looks like an AMT variant and I see a clutch pedal. Is it a bad photoshop job or is that in real?
