The Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupe is on sale in India at a price of Rs. 81.54 lakhs (ex-Delhi).
Great review!

The car was launched at a price of Rs. 76.70 ex showroom.
So why then is it now at Rs. 81.54 ex Delhi? Did Merc increase the pricing later on or the car that you tested had some options fitted to it? I would imagine a car like this would come with all the bells and whistles fitted as standard.

I am seriously beginning to question the credibility of this design. Sure it looks smashingly hot, but that's it. The only reason I'd buy this one is for that engine and the AMG driving dynamics. But where would I use it?
  • Track day: too heavy with average stability compared to C-Class Coupe C43 AMG
  • Off-road : might not be tuned for hardcore off-roading (misses out on 360 cam, terrain response and other hardcore features available in the similarly priced Defender), but pretty good(albeit the tyres) for beginner's to mild off-roading
  • touring: Definitely not, unless you're a family of two.
  • everyday commute: Hell yeah! arrive in style (unless you're a tier-1 city commuter)

TBH, if I had to upgrade and stretch my budget to 90L-1CR OTR, I'd definitely go for this over the X4 or any other SUV/sedan because of the all round nature of the package. But if I had more than sufficient money and i am looking for a good car, id rather head to the purpose built vehicles
