Even though the Allspace is always featured on VW India's homepage, according to dealers it is not in stock for a while now. I wonder if VW has any plans on bringing it back?

Volkswagen has discontinued the Tiguan Allspace in India, it's no longer listed on the brand's website.

Some were expecting Volkswagen to launch Tiguan aggressively in 25 to 32 lakh range. I think with this move, that's gone out of the window.

Volkswagen always aims to go out of the way in providing variant exclusivity to its owners. They will keep selling the same model but in new avatars and variants over decades.

Hence, the model one owns is always discontinued by the time one is looking for a change resulting in phenomenally bad resale value

I guess they aim to price new Tiguan above 35 L may be to compete against C5 and not Compass.

C5 is the undisputed leader in that segment with close to nil sales
