How much does they sell each month?I dont think it would be successful unless it has a better engine and lesser price. No one in kerela owns one -IMO.

I remember seeing the scoop pics years back and going woow! But that was short lived once reality bit me. It was a small engine and support of San motors was pretty much non existent.

To me its just a convertible.

Throw in a good engine (anything that puts out 120-145bhp) and improve the looks a tad bit.
With a 120-145bhp engine the doors and panels will flyoff on speed

well i had a chance to check one out 4 months back, was on palm beach road, and a brand new one was headed for delivery, the driver was kind enough to stop when I flagged him down [first San storm I've ever seen]. My driver was going all crazy as he checked out the body of the car, then I told him about the engine and even he laughed...HOWEVER the build isn't that bad anymore, pannels are flush, the car looks good, the ragtop is manual, and a pain in the butt.
Wish they sold just the body and chassis sans electrics, engine and, well everyrhing else...The chassis is capable, and she needs a nice motor, perhaps a V6. the car has loads of potential, but as said before it need a V6 with reliable eletricals, and an automatic top...

It runs on Renault D7F 1.2L SOHC, which generates 58BHP@5250rpm ! They claim its does 0~100 in under 15s !!
this is the problem. A toaster on wheels costing as much. OK maybe i am being very harsh, but a purported sports car @ 58 bhp and nearly 15 secs

I have driven one in Goa. It looked good at the time (can't quite remember the details now), but is no fun to drive, except for being a convertible. Limited reach, outdated tech, and iffy A.S.S don't help either. A car best forgotten.

It a plain simple automobile that has an open top. It has nothing much to offer expect for an option to feel the air in your hair , if you choose to. Power is adequate for our road conditions.

Yeah, with the current build quality, you are right. BUT,if it has to improve, and it gets a really peppy engine, then we'r talking serious business for a convertible.

I saw one at the auto show.
I should confess, the finishing looked crap.
Dont know about it's performance, but for the price i think a Crdi swift or a ikon flair can be a better buy, unless one is wanting a convertible for a short period of time(i don't think its a medium/long term car)
