Quite happy with the car!

Also a very good buying experience from Bird Automotive on Golf Course Road, Gurgaon.
Congrats on the purchase, do share your impressions of the car from the trip. Hope it was a fantastic drive in the X1.

It was quite a good drive - the car felt quite at ease on both the excellent Meerut Expressway ( Gurgaon to Meerut in 1.5 hours!) and the hilly terrain as we crossed Rishikesh to reach our destination which was about 35 km further on the Badrinath highway.

While there, we also drove to Dev Prayag (nice roads mostly) and Neelkanth temple, which was a little more fun with a single lane mountain road - but again mostly good quality roads.
There was greenery all around with the monsoons in full swing.

I used the paddle shifts on multiple occasions for overtaking while on the mountains and the car did not disappoint.

I have been driving a 2013 Skoda Octavia 1.8 TSI as my primary car and in comparison to the Octy I can say the X1 is a little more eager to move and fun to drive - not to say that the Octy is slow to respond in any way.

Spotted the X1 Tech Edition 20i, alloys look stunning!

Ps: After seeing the MG Astor in pics, the taillights of the Astor are an almost straight pick from the X1!
