You don't need PUC certificate for one year after which one has to test it and get the certificate. |

Hey folks, recently got my car registered under BH series, but having some trouble in getting PUC certificate from petrol pumps in Delhi. They all seem to be having an issue with the Registration number. Has anybody from Delhi got a PUC certificate for a Bh series car? |

I've a question regarding the BH number plate series. I'm a business owner and I've 4 companies, all in different states, all with their own GST numbers. I'm based in Mumbai. If anyone has any idea related to this kindly help me out. |

A few calls to the transport commissioner office, got a few references of Thane RTO and finally manage to contact the person with little knowledge of BH registration in Thane RTO. I have been assured that the RC will despatched latest by Monday 21st Feb. Then starts the tracking process. |

Just an update: I finally recd the RC smart card for my car under the BH registrations. It took 3 weeks of follow up with the local RTO officials who finally relented to my persuasion calls and despatched the RC. Couple of observations reg the RC card. 1. Too much info printed on the card 2. Too small font used making the reading of details a bit difficult I have attached the RC for everybody's reference. |

What a relief finally! Noticed that tax paid is mentioned as LTT.. Is it an error? |

I noticed that and have raised a query with the RTO team. I guess they must have missed the information that this is BH registered and tax to be paid once in 2 years. This precisely shows that the RTO staff aren't fully up to date with BH registration process. |

Oh did not know that! I was under the impression that a PUC certificate is needed even for a new car after a few days. I did not know it would be valid for one year. Thanks! |

PUC will be needed after 1 year of registration. However, none of the pollution testing centers are able to generate PUC Certificate till now as the system hasn't been updated. I have talked to a person in MoRTH already to look into the matter and get things updated before September when people will start getting PUCs for their vehicles. Will be talking to him on a regular basis to get things done. |
