There is no such rule that it can be done for only 1 car. You can do it for as many cars as you want.

Hey everyone,
I'm nearing the decision point for getting my car and was searching for any updates on the BH registration in Haryana. Doesn't seem to have any news yet. So, checking here if anyone has heard anything on the BH series launching in Haryana for new registrations?

At times like these I wish I had an ID with a Delhi address so I could purchase and get the BH number there... :Frustrati

Any updates on when this rule will be applied to all new car owners.

Hello team, has anyone got the required signatures for FORM 60 BH registration from the IT Service companies? If yes, would like to understand the process and POCs for the same.
I am a part of one of the large IT service companies but have kind of reached a dead end with the POCs/department for the required signatures. Request guidance and help. My car's delivery is on hold due to the required document.

Hello folks, I would like to purchase my next car in a state that is allowing BH registrations (for private sector as well, not just govt / defense). Is there a reliable and up to date source to know which states are allowing this?

Odisha is allowing for all. And very seamless.
But to register the car, you need to have a local address in the state. Only then registration is allowed.

Add Maharashtra too in the list, also local address is mandatory.

Just write to your HR supervisor who will guide to right POC. Today I also got my Form 60 (soft copy but dealer insisting on hard copy) from organization now awaiting GST certificates copy. Despite my office being in Pune I was struggling to have Form 60 signed as our offices are not yet opened so hardly any people from HR or Admin to help physically.

My dealer is insisting on 3 months salary slip for BH Series, is it actually needed ? as i have already provided Company reference letter and Form 60

Are you registering in Bangalore or elsewhere? It’s not really needed but each RTO/State seems to request for additional docs and have their own set of rules.

Also, are you a private employee? Cause AFAIK in KA, BH is only available for Government/PSU Bank/Defence employees.

Too bad this option isn't available for all the citizens of India. I am so torn between buying a car at my home city vs my work city(Bangalore). I wouldn't want to pay road taxes in both states and I am scared of being harassed by state police.

Great step by the minister, but please lets make it available to every tax paying citizen of India

I am in the same boat. I spoke with my HR spoc today to check if they can provide the form 60. I was categorically denied saying the provide only Bonafide certificate. I have no clue what to do now.

I have gone through the same ordeal, but my organization was kind enough to provide the signed Form 60 in their own letterhead format along with the addresses of their offices in other states. You can ask the same from your employer and use it for BH registration. I have come to realize that organizations are not comfortable signing documents that require actual pen-based signatures/seals or documents that are from outside the establishment. Hope my input helps you.

I was directed to download a Bonafide certificate which is system generated. The certificate only states that I am a permanent employee and the certificate is issued to enable for registering the car on his address and not on the company address.
Looks like I will have to get the state registration.

Hello BHPians. I’m planning to buy a car and planning to get it registered under the BH series. However, I’ve taken quotes from Honda, Volkswagen and Skoda from pune and all of them are giving me tax calculations based on the ex showroom price and not the invoice price excluding GST. When I asked them about this, the reply is that this is the price that’s coming in the RTO portal and they cannot do anything about this. What should i do?
