| ![]() Mod Note: Our Hyundai Venue Facelift Review has been taken live at this link. Please continue the discussion over on the new thread. Thanks! A test mule of the Hyundai Venue facelift has been spotted in South Korea. The updated crossover is expected to make its global debut next year. ![]() The spy images suggest that the Venue will retain its split headlamp set up with the main projector lights positioned on the front bumper. The car also appears to have a redesigned grille. Similarly, the LED taillights have also been updated. Gone are the rectangular units. They have been replaced with L-shaped lights. ![]() Under the skin, the Venue facelift will be identical to the current car. In India, the sub-4 meter SUV is offered with three engine options - a 998cc turbo petrol with 118 BHP and 172 Nm, 1.2-litre petrol producing 82 BHP and 115 Nm and a 1.4-litre diesel that makes 89 BHP and 220 Nm. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. ![]() Source: Autospy Link to Team-BHP News Last edited by Aditya : 23rd June 2022 at 15:13. | ![]() Hyundai needs to bridge the features gap between the Kia Sonet and the Venue with this update. The diesel AT, ventilated seats along with digital dials and a larger touch screen will help the Venue an equal alternative to the Sonet GTX variant |

| ![]() Personal preference, but the front fascia looks completely unchanged apart from the grille. I particularly find the head-lights on the venue to be tiny which doesn't give it the presence Sonet has with it's bold and big head-lights. |

| ![]() Venue needs rear wash/wipe on the SX DCT variant. I hope Hyundai doesn't ditch this important feature this time around. Else, it's a fairly good package and perfect for urban commute. |

| ![]() Couldn't locate any changes in the front fascia - but those updated tail lamps look sweet! That pic from @volkman10 with the rear 3 quarters looks pretty good. I hope they tone down the front grill and instead update the lights/DRLs to provide the required aggression/look for it to have a bit more street presence than a hatchback with a sloping bonnet. (a la i20 for the latter part) Also add the missing rear wiper/wash on the SX DCT variant. Would make this an even more compelling package. |

| ![]() One thing i really liked about the Venue was the consistent theme and squarish design elements all across the car (DRLs, tail lamps, reversing lamps, reflectors, front & rear ac vents, door handles etc). IMHO it gave it a unique retro look and was a welcome change from angular designs found on every other car. This new tail lamp design would probably dilute that uniqueness. |

| ![]() The new tail lamp design seems nice. I hope the front grill won't be a copy-paste version of new Creta, that would look terrible for a smaller car IMHO.(Small car, extra wide grill, like Santro) I dont like the current square shaped DRLs, can be redesigned in a better way to look sharper. Rear profile needs to be a bit wider like Sonet, we might see that in next-generation model. |

| ![]() The current Venue is not as cohesive in its design as the Sonet or few other compact cross overs. It has a weird stance and somehow the front looks very overdone. There is a lot of inspiration from the Creta’s silhouette from the A pillar onwards, whereas the rear seems out of sync. However, this facelift seems to address the looks of the Venue. For one, the rear looks a lot more cleaner, creating a stubbier stance. I don’t know if it’s the camouflage, but the rear hatch door seems completely different, more angular. | ![]() Ground Clearance seems to have increased quite a bit, similar to Nexon, which is great! |
