ah, thats a nice one there! well if it is priced at around 5-6lk, am sure its gonna be a nice hit. its a nice practical vehicle i feel, a smaller SUV for the suv lovers, but good for the heavy traffics of India. u get the pleasure of driving an Suv and also having it small and neat.

good on em!

Does it have the off road capabilities of the gypsy? The Esteem engine powered gypsy could actually go anywhere, to places where even tractors dread.
This one looks like a joke. If they do something about the gypsy in their R&D division(do they have any?) it can sell again, and not just to armed forces. All you need is coil spring suspension and a 70BHP diesel engine(It weighs 990KG, right so this much power is good enough).

Yes the car is called Jimmy & not Jimny.I have seen this once in malaysia.its nothing more than a soft offroader.as someone said earlier its an offraoder suited for ladies. But i think there was no 4wd option for this one.

A CRDI engine powered Open Top Gypsy with 4x4 and basic creature comforts and priced around 5 Lacs is the need of the hour for enthusiasts like me.

Can somebody put this thing into the petrol-Heads at MUL??

This is more than two years old thread and MUL is not planning to change current Gypsy. If it happens in future, we can start a new thread.

We're closing this thread.
