| ![]() Rumour: Hyundai Venue facelift launch in May 2022 The Hyundai Venue facelift is said to be in the final stages of testing and if things go to plan, it could be launched in India next month. ![]() Spy images suggest that the Venue facelift will get a redesigned front grille and a completely reworked rear fascia. The crossover will feature L-shaped LED headlamps and a redesigned tailgate and bumper. The updated Venue is expected to be offered with the same engine options as the current model. These include a 998cc turbo petrol with 118 BHP and 172 Nm, 1.2-litre petrol producing 82 BHP and 115 Nm and a 1.5-litre diesel that makes 99 BHP and 240 Nm. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. Hyundai Venue N-Line: Hyundai is also likely to introduce the Venue N-Line this time around. This variant is expected to get sporty add-ons like red accents on the lower part of the front bumper, new alloy wheels and twin exhaust tips. The Venue N-Line could be offered with the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with either the 6-speed iMT or the 7-speed DCT. | ![]() The plain vanilla Venue in SX trim is available with the Turbo 1.0L+Manual transmission combination. Hyundai can easily plug in the N-Line steering, suspension, exhaust wizardy to this and launch it at a lower price point. It can be the partial "spiritual" successor to the long dead EcoSport EcoBoost ![]() |

| ![]() Are we expecting the launch of Venue diesel AT a la Kia Sonet? Considering that the cars are same, it makes no sense for Hyundai to not launch it here. Although members have mentioned here that it might cannibalize Creta sales, I fail to see why a customer intending to spend 20L on Creta diesel AT would voluntarily sit in a cramped compact suv. |

| ![]() Rumour: Hyundai Venue facelift bookings open unofficially Hyundai is gearing up to launch the Venue facelift in India and reports suggest that some dealerships have already started accepting bookings for the updated model. It is said that dealers are taking bookings for the Venue facelift for a refundable token amount of Rs 11,000. Rumours also suggest that the car could be launched as early as next month. Spy images suggest that the Venue facelift will get a redesigned front grille and a completely reworked rear fascia. The crossover will feature L-shaped LED headlamps and a redesigned tailgate and bumper. The updated Venue is expected to be offered with the same engine options as the current model. | ![]() Although performance "SUVs" aren't really my thing, this is excellent for the N-line brand. More models in the lineup, especially in the better selling Venue compared to i20, will soon cement this as India's best selling(and only) performance sub brand. Hopefully this will be a good stepping stone to full N models. |

| ![]() Slightly OT: But relevant to Venue facelift launch. My sister is waiting to book the Hyundai Creta and is waiting for any information on the Hyundai Creta facelift launch dates in India. Does anyone have updates on the same? |

As per my sources in U.P. Regional Office, the Creta facelift is not going to be launched before March 2023. They have not even started testing it in Indian conditions. It is rumoured to have ADAS which will require considerable amount of testing on Indian roads before it is placed in the market for public consumption. |

| ![]() Tooo much chrome in my opinion. Hyundai could have done better job in exterior styling for the model which is accounting for 18% of its sales in India. |

| ![]() This is clearly not a leak. The pictures are so clear and we can clearly make it out it is not a leak. One website posted it and everyone seems to be picking it up. It is a render by Hum3D which is a modeling software/website. https://hum3d.com/3d-models/hyundai-venue-turbo-2022/ @mods: Please see that news/posts are verified before making it to the home page/news section. |
